South Bristol Wellbeing Choir

South Bristol Wellbeing Choir A fun choir in South Bristol for anyone to join, any time, in term time. Thursday 7 – 8.30pm, Windmill Hill Community Centre, BS3 4LW

Singing together is a fantastic way to energize and refresh yourself, lift your spirits and reduce your stress levels. It also has proven benefits for those with respiratory, memory and circulatory problems. The South Bristol Wellbeing Choir was established in October 2013. We meet every Thursday 7 – 8.30pm at
St Michaels & All Angels Church Hall, Windmill Hill, BS3 4LW During term time (5 Nov -1

7 Dec). We are a fun and inclusive group and we sing for the health of it! We are usually around 50-60-strong and sing a range of music, from folk to pop, gospel to jazz. We sing in unison and in harmony and we learn our songs by ear. We are led by vocalists Katya Gorrie and accompanied by pianist Ian Towers. We sing for fun - so don't worry if you can't join us every week or you've not sung in a group before. No experience is needed, and you don't need to be able to read music. We have a donation tin where contributions are welcome. All donations go towards the running costs of the group. sDOTbristolwellbeingchoirATgmailDOTcom
