A very big thank you to everyone who came along this year! It’s been a pleasure crafting, dancing, singing, chatting, meditating, reflecting, walking, chai-ing and MFC soup-ing with you all! From the big busy events to the chill, relaxed times, it has been so lovely to have you all part of our Chaplaincy community this academic year!

👋🏾 Farewells
For those leaving us, thanks for letting us join you on your university journey and bringing that little bit of you to share with our community. We’ve loved meeting and sharing with you all and we’ll miss you dearly. We're sure whatever's next you'll do wonders 😊! For now, farewell, but if you're ever around, do drop in to say hello!

Have a phenomenal vacation everyone! 🌞

With loving kindness,
Dilan & MFC team 💛

(P.S. If you are around this summer, do check out the fun stuff happening at Global Lounge – you will find me [Dilan] there! 😎)

Closed for Spring vacation (27th March - 14th April) plus online support 💙

The Multifaith Chaplaincy will be closed for the whole of the Spring vacation (three weeks), so there will be no lunchtime socials or faith events during that time and the Chaplaincy Centre will not open 11am-3pm for drop-ins.

You can still access online 1-2-1 pastoral/spiritual support provided by our chaplains Clotilde Barberon, Munira Hashimi and Jacqueline Conradie-Faul on certain dates. See the University's services and support in the holidays page for more details: https://www.bristol.ac.uk/students/support/support-in-the-holidays/

We will be back open as usual, 11am-3pm, on Monday 17th April - come and have warm free soup!

Have a restful break and see you soon.
Warmly,

The MFC team

Death Cafe

Join us this Thursday 9th March at 6pm to gather to eat cake, drink tea and discuss death. Death cafes involve a group-directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes. They are a sharing group rather than a grief support or counselling session. The aim is to create a comfortable and safe space for peoples to talk and share personal experience and feelings about death. Search ‘death cafe’ to learn more about the movement to destigmatise talking about death. No need to book, just turn up.

Join us in sharing on the theme of mindful sexual relationships. Learn from each other what mindful relationships can look like and share your experiences in a friendly and supportive environment.

These sessions aim to normalise sharing about intimate relationships and create a healthy, comfortable culture of sharing with others.

The sessions will open and close with five minutes of silence. We will share reflectively on two topics chosen by the group in a mindful and non-judgemental way.

Please note confidentiality is required for these sessions.

7-8:30pm.

These sessions will run for a total of three weeks (28th Feb, 7th and 14th March). No need to book, simply drop in.

Email [email protected] with any questions.
