HOLYWEEN: Celebrating Halloween the Faithful Way! ❤️

When kids ask why we don’t celebrate Halloween in the typical way, let’s share the good news: we can celebrate—by honoring our faith and dressing up as saints! 😉

Halloween, or “All Hallows’ Eve,” is actually the eve of All Saints’ Day, a time the Church has dedicated to honoring saints, martyrs, and all the faithful who have gone before us.

The word hallow means something holy or sacred, and as a noun, it even means “saint.” So, what better way to celebrate than by choosing costumes that reflect the virtues of saints who shared God’s love, courage, and wisdom through their lives.

This Holyween, let’s embody the saints who inspire us and bring God’s light into the world—without the scary costumes!!
