St Leonard's Church, Bretforton St Leonard's Church in Bretforton is a welcoming community of faith, worship, and service. Join us for services, events, and community activities. St.

Leonard’s church is a Grade I listed church building in the heart of the picturesque village of Bretforton. The church dates back to the late 13th century but has some later Victorian additions. However, many of the original medieval features survive. The church is usually left open and seats 140 and has a sound system and hearing loop . There a band of bell ringers. The last village band in Worce

stershire, the Bretforton Silver Band, has strong ties to the church and provides music for special services. The church also has strong links with our local community school, Bretforton First School, and the famous Fleece Inn. There are kitchen and toilet facilities available on request.

The PCC were very sorry to learn of John’s death. He had been a devoted and active member of the church community for many years. His commitment to St Leonards was evident in the various roles he undertook, including Lay Chair, secretary, and churchwarden from 2001 to 2019.

John’s presence and faithful service will be deeply missed, and the PCC extends sincere condolences to Mary and his family during this difficult time.
John’s funeral service will be held at St Leonards on Monday, 13th April at 11:30am. This occasion will offer an opportunity for family, friends, and members of the church community to come together and pay their respects to a man who contributed so much over the years. Donations in aid of St Johns Ambulance.

If you’re looking for a new puzzle or board game, do pop along to St Leonard's Church, Bretforton on:

There’ll be plenty of jigsaws and games to browse — perfect for all ages.

Donations are very welcome and can be left in church beforehand or brought along on the day.
