🕌 URGENT MASJID APPEAL – HAZRAT SULTAN BAHU MASJID, BRADFORD
Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,
Our local masjid, Hazrat Sultan Bahu Masjid, Bradford, is currently in need of your support.
The flooring and floorboards on the second floor of the masjid have become worn due to wear and tear and are in need of replacement. It has also been identified that the joists also require replacement, making the work more extensive and necessary.
The existing carpet has already been uplifted to allow the necessary works to be carried out.
📢 This appeal has been announced a number of times previously. However, due to the urgency of the situation and the impact the condition of the flooring was having on our Madrassa classes, we could not delay the work any further. The necessary work has now started.
💷 The estimated cost of the flooring, floorboards and joist works is between £3,000 and £4,000.
We humbly appeal to our brothers and sisters in the community to contribute whatever they can towards this essential work. The work has already commenced, and we now need your support to help cover the cost.
