WORSHIP & COMMUNITY
Worship is in the Catholic tradition of the Church of England within which all are welcome and made to feel at home.The Bishop of Beverley (the Provincial Episcopal Visitor for the Northern Province), the Rt. Sundays
11am Parish Mass
Our main Sunday service: a celebration of the Eucharist/Holy Communion with hymns, choir and sermon and Catholic ceremonial. There are Sunday School activities for children at the same time and refreshments afterwards. Wednesdays
9.00am Morning Prayer
9.30am Mass
A short, simple celebration of the Eucharist, with refreshments available afterwards. On the 1st Wednesday of each month the service includes the Sacrament of Laying on of Hands and Anointing for the Sick
Thursdays
Church Lads and Church Girls Brigade, a uniformed organisation for young people aged 5 and upwards, meets in the Church Hall. Fridays

A short, simple celebration of the Eucharist: an opportunity to come to Holy Communion especially for those who work on Sunday mornings. Other service times
Christ the King share the Priestly Ministry of Fr John with St' Andrew's Spennymoor as a result, other than Monday, Mass is said daily along with either morning or evening prayer at either Christ the King or St Andrew's Spennymoor.
