Uganda Update - God Moved in Powerful Ways

Our family has just returned from two months serving in Uganda, and we are so grateful for all God allowed us to be part of.
Our time was spent on a YWAM base (Youth With A Mission), partnering with local churches, ministries, and leaders - strengthening discipleship, sharing the gospel, and investing in the next generation. I had the privilege of teaching a full week on hearing God’s voice for the Discipleship Training School, and it was incredible to see students step out in faith, listen to God, and grow in confidence.

As a family, we visited many primary schools, slums, children’s homes, a women’s prison, and a home for disabled children - teaching the story of creation and the fall, praying with people, and sharing the hope of Jesus through simple acts of love – and of course, lots of dancing and singing as is the Ugandan way!
What impacted us most was the joy, hospitality, and deep faith of the Ugandan people. Their sense of community and their hunger for God have challenged us to rethink how we live and lead here in the UK. We return with full hearts having been blessed more than we could ever give, and with an even greater passion for discipleship, community, and to continue supporting leaders both here and abroad. Uganda has become part of our family’s story, and we all hope to return in the future.
