In a world where everyone is chasing "the new," there’s something deeply disruptive about consistency. We live in an age of pivots, rebranding, and the constant search for the next trend, but here is a man who decided on one thing and just… stayed. No noise. No unnecessary wahala. Just the Work.

I often wonder what it takes to keep your eyes fixed on the same horizon for over eight decades. We get bored after three months of a new gym routine, or a diet, some can't even complete a 30 day no soda challenge, but Pastor W. F. Kumuyi is out here showing us that finish lines aren't for the fast, they’re for the faithful.

It’s not just about the preaching; it’s about the posture. That quiet, stubborn kind of integrity that doesn't need to shout to be heard. You see that smile? That’s the look of a man who knows exactly Who he belongs to.

If we will learn only one thing today, let it be that. That the greatest legacy isn't how many people knew your name, but how well you served the One who gave it to you.

Happy Birthday to a General. 85 is an entire lifetime of ‘Yes.’

Thank you Sir, for saying Yes to the call.
Happy birthday Daddy.

Sometimes the loudest voice in the room isn’t the one actually leading. 🤫

We kicked off our fellowship with a game of “Follow the Leader — Silent Version.” Simple idea, but watching everyone scramble to figure out who was setting the ‘move’? Real influence doesn’t need a microphone. It’s in how you observe, how you connect, and the quiet power of just showing up consistently.

Then we got into the story of Apollos — brilliant, gifted, but humble enough to sit down and let someone teach him. A rare thing. Being confident in what you ‘water’ on the the table while staying soft enough to be shaped. Most of us are working on one or the other, not both.

So here’s what we’re actually trying to do this week:

*Lead without the performance.* Whether at work or with your mates — model the things you care about. Patience, integrity, actually listening. Let that do the talking.

*The teachable test.* Next time someone gives you feedback, don’t rush to explain yourself. Just sit with the possibility that they might be right. It’s uncomfortable. That’s kind of the point.

*Watch the room before you try to fix it.* The best leaders read the vibe before they try to shift it. Slow down before you step in.

If you weren’t there, come to the next one, we are not stopping anytime soon

Influencer culture taught us to be seen by everyone… yet known by no one.
Like Micah, many build ‘temples’ from trends, aesthetics, and borrowed opinions, drifting further from truth while calling it self-expression.

Laish fell because they lived careless and isolated.
And in the same way, a culture disconnected from godly community becomes easy prey to confusion, compromise, and spiritual emptiness.

Not every voice with followers carries wisdom.
Sometimes the crowd is the loneliest place to be.

TAKE THEM ALL TO JESUS

There are burdens too deep for human shoulders: Griefs that silence the tongue, fears that darken the soul, and wounds that no earthly hand can heal.

The heart grows weary beneath the weight of sin, sorrow, disappointment, and hidden battles. Yet heaven still whispers the same eternal invitation: Take them all to Jesus.

Carry not your anxieties alone into the night seasons of life. Lay them before the feet once pierced at Calvary. He who bore the cross still bears the brokenhearted.

He who calmed the raging sea still speaks peace into troubled souls. No tear escapes His notice, no sigh is hidden from His heart.

Take your sins to Him for cleansing. Take your fears to Him for comfort. Take your weakness to Him for strength. The world may fail you, but Christ remains the unfailing refuge of every weary soul.

In His presence, heavy chains lose their hold, and troubled hearts find divine rest.

The safest place for every burdened soul is at the feet of Jesus.

Jesus is enough

When your soul has wandered through broken cisterns and tasted the bitterness of earthly vanities, one eternal truth remains: Jesus is enough.

Enough for the sinner who needs pardon, enough for the weary who need rest, enough for the empty heart that longs for peace.

The world offers many things, yet none can heal the wound of sin or satisfy the cry of the spirit.

But in Christ dwelleth “all the fulness of the Godhead bodily” (Colossians 2:9), and in Him, every true need is met.

Jesus is enough for the salvation of your soul.

His blood speaks better things than the voice of guilt, addictions, shame, and eternal loss.

At Calvary, He bore your shame, carried your sorrows, and opened the fountain of mercy for all who believe.

No human effort can add to His finished work, for He cried, “It is finished.” The cross is complete, the price is paid, grace flows freely, and you can be redeemed, only if you come to Him.

Jesus is enough for our daily journey. When strength fails, He is our strength. When darkness surrounds, He is the Light of the world.

When storms arise, He is peace in the midst of the waves. You may lose many earthly things, yet if Christ is in you, nothing essential is lost.

Jesus is enough in suffering, enough in loneliness, enough in death, and enough for eternity.

Riches fade, friends may depart, and flesh returns to dust, but Christ remains the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Therefore, let every restless heart come to Him. Cease from trusting lesser things.

Drink deeply from the fountain that never runs dry. For the one who truly finds Jesus discovers that in finding Him, he has found all.

Do you want to anchor your soul on this faith that is in Christ Jesus in this broken world?

Come now and say this simple prayer:

Oh Lord Jesus, I am full of fear and broken in this broken world, but I want a ray of hope and a new beginning to total freedom. Please, Lord Jesus, forgive me all my sins, deliver me, and restore wholeness to my soul.

Wash me with your precious blood, deliver me from these burdens, and give me a brand new life. I promise you, Lord, by your grace to live for You. Thank you, Lord. In your name, I pray... Amen.

Wounded for Me...

At the heart of the gospel lies a sorrow too deep for human language and a love too vast for human measure. "He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes, we are healed." (Isaiah 53:5).

These are not the wounds of mere cruelty, but the marks of divine substitution, where justice and mercy meet in the suffering of the Son of God... Jesus Christ.

The sinless One bore the weight of the guilty. Every stripe upon His back spoke of our rebellion; every wound upon His body declared the cost of our peace.

He did not suffer for His own wrongdoing, for in Him was no sin, but for ours, hidden, multiplied, and deserving of judgment.

Yet within those wounds lies our healing. The very suffering that exposes the depth of human sin also reveals the height of divine love.

At the cross, condemnation was exhausted, and grace was unveiled. What was meant for our destruction became the fountain of our redemption.

To look upon Him wounded is to see both the seriousness of sin and the greatness of salvation.

And to believe is to find life flowing from those sacred wounds—life that death cannot silence, and mercy that eternity cannot exhaust.

He did all these for you and I, so as to make the sons of men to become sons of God. He paid it all full and free and He is caliing you... follow me and I will make you completely whole.

Do you want to anchor your soul on faith in Christ Jesus in this broken world?

Come now and say this simple prayer:

Oh Lord Jesus, I am full of fear and broken in this broken world, but I want a ray of hope and a new beginning to total freedom. Please, Lord Jesus, forgive me all my sins, deliver me, and restore wholeness to my soul.
