We are a Christian Unity Movement based in the town of Blackburn with Darwen, Lancashire.

Our vision is to set-up a Christian unity movement for the sake of local mission and transformation. RISE also defines our core values:

Relational – a spontaneous coming together of both Churches and individual Christians for the same vision

Intentional – about our Christian identity and seeing God’s kingdom come. Spirit-led – acknowledging the Holy Spirit as the ultimate leader and seeking to

align our plans to what He is already doing. Entrepreneurial – Engaging with and serving in every aspect of society to promote transformation.

It was wonderful this morning to be up at 6:30am with fellow believers form different churches in Blackburn & Darwen! 🙏 Grateful for the privilege of gathering early to worship and lift our voices in prayer for our town. 🌍✨

We had another wonderful morning at our early morning prayer meeting, joining together as Christians in Worship and prayer. Praying for God to move in our town .

What a beautiful morning! Christians from seven churches gathered early today for a special prayer meeting in Blackburn with Darwen. Our hearts were united as we lifted up our children, young people, and all those involved in education. 🙏✨ "

Another great early morning prayer meeting with Christians from across BwD to intercede for our beloved town. Really good attendance for August! At this pace were going to need to use the main hall!

Brilliant start to our early morning meeting of prayer and intercession for BwD. This monthly event (first Tuesday of every month at 6,30am at The Beacon Blackburn) is open to all Christians! Make sure to spread the word!
