A Powerful message from Sunday’s Sermon;
Living for God’s Glory
Focusing on Revelation 4:11

Everyone lives for something. Some for success, some for pleasure, some for approval and some for survival.

But the Word teaches us that we were created for a higher purpose.

A valuable lesson from Sunday’s Sermon;
Toiled for Nothing
Focusing on Luke 5:1-11

All the hard work we put in, God will reward us
When we listen to the Word and guidance of God, there’s no doubt that we will succeed. Furthermore with His grace, we will see far greater success and blessings.

Therefore as long as we never forsake God, He will never forsake us

With the start of a new year comes many new year’s resolutions and goals. This year, let us make a conscious effort to live a healthy lifestyle to the glory and honour of God. Our bodies do not belong to us; we are all stewards of the bodies God has given us. Therefore, we cannot live recklessly and treat our bodies however we feel. We have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus, and the Holy Spirit resides in us. We must take care of our bodies because they come from God.

How we treat our bodies can impact our spiritual, physical and mental wellbeing, so how can make sure we try to live as healthily as possible? Check out the second slide for some helpful tips. You can also find more detail about healthy living on the NHS website: https://www.nhs.uk/live-well/

“So God created mankind in His own image, in the image of God He created them; male and female He created them.” - Genesis 1:27

“Do not join those who drink too much wine or gorge themselves on meat, for drunkards and gluttons become poor, and drowsiness clothes them in rags.” - Proverbs 23:20-21

“So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” - 1 Corinthians 10:31

“Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.” - 3 John 1:2

Continuing from last week’s Sermon:
Living in the Higher Dimension of God’s Goodness and Glory
Focusing on Aligning ourselves with God’s Purpose and Plan

Looking at Luke 22:42
This year we should look to align ourselves with God’s plan. Intentionally living in harmony with His will and His calling.
When we align with God’s purpose, we make room for the flow of His goodness and the weight of His glory.

Kicking off the year strong with a powerful message on Sunday’s Sermon
Living in the Higher Dimension of God’s Goodness and Glory

Focusing Psalms 31:19-20
We should be expecting good things to come from this next year and experience all that He has planned and prepared for us.
Therefore we should remove ourselves from anything that limits that hold us back.

An incredibly important message as we move towards the New Year.
Remember the Goodness of God
Focusing on Deuteronomy 8:1-3

Remember what 2025 has been like for you and how God managed to keep you through it all
All challenges and issues we experienced this past year, God has sustained us

What are the challenges you may have faced in past year?

Remember that God has been so good, so marvellous and faithful, so when we enter into the New Year. Keep that same understanding knowing that the Lord is on our side.

An important message from Sunday’s Sermon;
How can we honour Christ?
Focusing on John 3:16-17

As Christmas is around the corner,
Celebrate Christmas with sentimentality
Reminding ourselves that Jesus is the reason for the season
May our Christmas be marked by genuine worship, gratitude for salvation, and a renewed commitment to share His love with the world

A powerful message from Sunday’s Sermon;
Praise! Don’t Fear

Replacing fear with praise helps us to focus on shifting one’s perspective of overwhelming circumstances to the greatness and faithfulness of God

Scripture teaches that praise is a powerful weapon in spiritual warfare that invites God’s presence, brings peace and silence the enemy

An important message from Sundays Sermon;
Preparing Our Hearts for Christ,
as we venture towards Advent.
Focusing on Isaiah 40:3-5
We see in Isaiah, the attitude in hearts that God desires from us .
And the key thing he requires us to do;

A powerful message from todays Sunday Sermon;
What God has started He will complete
Focusing on Philippians 1:3-6
God won’t leave you an ‘unfinished product’.
There’s no record of God leaving anything uncompleted
So you can guarantee that whatever God has done begun in your life He will complete it.

A critical lesson to learn from Sunday’s Sermon;
God acts on your behalf
Focusing on Isaiah 64:1-4
God is not absent, distant or passive of what happens in our lives
God is very much present and is actively involved in our lives.
So let God lead
Choose prayer over panic and anxiety
Philippians 4:6-7
Hold onto peace when tempted to rush ahead of God

An important message progressing from last week’s Sermon
Fasting that pleases God
Focusing on Isaiah 58:1-12

In Isaiah 58, God rebukes Israel for practicing empty religion.
They fasted, prayed, and sought God outwardly — but their hearts were far from Him. They oppressed workers, quarreled, and ignored the needy.
God desires us to be sincere and meaningful when we fast, pray and seek Him.
