The Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Aalihi Wa Sallam said:"Acquiring knowledge is obligatory upon every Muslim"A Mukallaf must enter and practice Islam. A person is Mukallaf (accountable), if he/she:

· Is Pubescent (Baa’ligh)
· Is Sane (Aa’qil)
· Has heard the creedal statement (Daa’wa) of Islam

Once he/she knows & believes in "La Ilaha Illallah Muhammadur Rasoolullah", he/she must seek kn

owledge. Know (may Allah guide us) that Worship & Obedience, by definition, is the application of acquired religious knowledge, hence, knowledge of the religion is a mandatory prerequisite for a correct and sound worship.
