World of Coffee Bangkok. It was about showcasing the new ideas we’re bringing to life as much as it was about celebrating the incredible coffee community.

Celebrating the people behind every brew, every conversation, and every moment shared throughout the week.

From reconnecting with old friends who were part of our journey from the very beginning to meeting home brewers, artists, champions, and coffee lovers from around the world, this experience reminded us how much coffee brings people together.

From record-breaking launches to award-winning products used by champions and home brewers around the world, ICOSA is growing, and we’re expanding our marketing team.

We’re currently looking for:

• Partnerships & Community Liaison — Build meaningful relationships with champions, industry leaders, and the coffee community around the globe.
• Social Media Manager — Bring our global campaigns to life in ways people feel and remember.

These roles are fully remote.

You’ll work directly with our founders inside a brand helping shape coffee culture. Your work will support product launches and campaigns that reach coffee lovers worldwide.

Meet Bryan (.abalos143), a home brewer from the Philippines who fell in love with coffee for one simple reason: the people behind it.

For him, coffee is never just about the taste. It’s about stories shared across the table. He started out curious, shared what he learned, and somehow ended up being inspired by the very people he introduced to coffee. That continuous loop of learning and sharing is what keeps him hooked.

Before coffee, Bryan was all about photography, his first love. Seeing the world from different angles while chasing new perspectives, capturing meaning in small details. Today, that same creative instinct shapes how he brews and shoots.

His go-to ICOSA Brewhouse piece? A classic. The Alto, versatile and always up for whatever the day brings, whether it’s espresso or a slow morning pour-over that reveals something new in the cup.

“I want to express every possibility within a coffee.”

Finalist at the 2026 Korea Brewers Cup, MJ () pursues clarity with intent. He aims for a cup that is clean, balanced, and memorable. As a roaster, he pushes for the fullest expression a single coffee can offer, finishing with a lingering aftertaste long before the cup runs out.

On competition day, he does not practice. He saves energy, visualizes the stage, and releases everything when the routine begins. Competition inspires him. No matter how famous the field is, it gives him the courage to step up without fear.

For his routine, MJ explored the expression range of one green coffee. He created two roast profiles to highlight different flavors, then brought them together as one.

To blend with control, he chose the Cyclone. Its base shape helps the two brews mix evenly, and a light swirl delivers clear aroma quickly.

Home tip: after brewing, pour into the Cyclone and swirl once. Smell before you sip. Note which flavors come forward.
