What a great Sunday as we came together to Minister to The Lord, hear the teaching of His Word, and leave changed by His Presence.

As we continued our series EIGHT, we looked at Paul’s words in Romans 7, that whilst being saved by God, he still continues to wrestle with sin, leading him to declare himself “a wretched man.” This struggle, which we are all familiar with, can lead us into shame and the accusation that we are condemned, separated from God, or simply not good enough.

And then, Romans 8:1 reminds us that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus! These verses are a call to not give the enemy power over our sense of worth, and a reminder that there is nothing that can separate us from the love of God.

EIGHT | Week 6

Yesterday was one of those Sundays we're going to be thinking about for a while! From powerful worship and encounters in God's presence, from Rea Kids to the Café, and everything in between. We had a special time together as the Family of God in the Presence of God!

As Chris asked this question during the message, a youngster in the church yelled out, “DAD!” and we think there's probably not a better way to sum up the talk or answer the question than that!

What a great Sunday together as the Family of God in the Presence of God, as we continued Eight, our series through the first chapters of Paul's letters to the Romans.

When Romans 4 describes faith to us, Paul doesn't give a definition or a list of doctrine that we should have faith in. Rather, he tells us about a person: Abraham. Think about his story. He lived before there was any community of believers. He lived before there were any religious buildings connected to God. He lived before there were any Scriptures. All he had was a voice. A voice that told him to up and go to a land he'd never seen before. And he went. This is what faith looks like.

Faith does stuff. Faith acts. Faith obeys. Faith says yes.
