We are part of the fellowship of churches known as the International Church of Christ (please visit www.disciplestoday.org, our global web portal), dedicated to learning to know God and to making God known throughout the great city of Birmingham, UK, and the surrounding urban area in the West Midlands of England. We cooperate closely with the other international churches of Christ in the UK and Ir
eland, the Nordic countries, Europe, Eurasia, Africa, India, the United States, and around the world. As a church, we pray that the love and the grace of God is the motivation of all that we are and do (1 John 4:9-10). We understand our purpose as a church to be to grow in our love and knowledge of God our Father; and our mission as a church, to live out Jesus' command to "go and make disciples of all nations...." Individually, we strive to love the Lord our God with all our heart, with all our soul, with all our mind and with all our strength, and to love our neighbour as ourselves. (Matthew 22:37-40) We want with all our hearts to be faithful disciples of Jesus Christ in the world today. We believe that the Word of God is true, inerrant, and "useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man or woman of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."
