Our Summer Holiday Club is just around the corner!

We are so looking forward to welcoming lots of wonderful children in a few weeks. We hope everyone is as excited as we are to become Kingdom Builders!

The time has come.

Following their commissioning service on Sunday, our team have now departed Biggleswade and are getting ready to board their flight to Johannesburg and then the onwards travel to the Hands at Work Hub.

We wish them well and hold them in our prayers over the next 2 weeks of this important mission trip- please keep an eye on their blog to see all the exciting things they will get up to.

Do come and join the service and support our team as they make their final preparations for their mission trip to our partner community, Mafambisa.

Biggleswade in Bloom 2026
We are thrilled to share, for those that have not seen, that we were jointly awarded 3rd place alongside Beaumont Park nursing home in the community category.

A huge thanks to everyone who put the effort in to make our Churchyard looking wonderful ready for judging - in particular to the Eco-Church Group.

As we hear today of Bishop Richards retirement at the end of this year, we pray for Him and his continued ministry to our Diocese and everything the God has planned for him over the next months. We thank God for all the work that has been completed by Bishop Richard over the last 14 years as Bishop of Bedford.

The Rt Revd Richard Atkinson, Bishop of Bedford, has announced that he will retire at the end of this year. Having faithfully served the Diocese of St Albans for 14 years, including as Acting Bishop of St Albans during the recent vacancy-in-see, Bishop Richard has played a significant role in the life of our parishes, schools and communities.

Bishop Richard will continue in his ministry across the Diocese until his retirement in December. Details of opportunities to give thanks for his ministry and say farewell will be shared in due course.

Today we thank God for all the fathers and anyone who takes on a father role.

May the Lord bless all fathers with strength that doesn't falter, wisdom that guides with love, and a heart that is patient. We pray that they will be blessed with love, joy, and peace. May God's love fill their hearts today and remind them of the profound difference they make. Amen.
