A big hello to everyone who joined us for our Family Communion Service celebrating the new Festival of Christ in Creation this morning, especially if it was for the first time!

In July, the Church of England's General Synod approved a new festival for the Church's Calendar: The Festival of Creation in Christ!

This Sunday (6th September)we'll celebrate it!

8am Said Holy Communion
10am Family Communion
And at 12 Noon a Summer Party for the whole community!

Toddler Church is back NEXT WEEK (11th September 2pm) and we'll be needing lots of help to find a flock of lost sheep, who have found themselves in all manner of places around the church!

Reminding you all that this weekend marks St.Mary's Church, Bexley Village' Patronal Festival!

This is an excellent opportunity to connect with the oldest church in Bexley Village, with more than 900 years of history to explore!

Saturday 15th: 2pm Guided Tour of St Mary's. Tickets £10 on the door.

Sunday 16th: 10am Patronal Eucharist -All welcome; Refreshments after.

(St John's will be open throughout the weekend as usual for personal devotions, but please note that on Sunday only the 8am Said Communion is taking place. For a 10am service, please join us at St Mary's, a mere 10-15 minute walk along the High Street!)
