Living Word Church is a church passionate about seeing people get

to know and worship Jesus Christ, develop relationships with Him and others, and reach their full potential in life. It’s a place where whoever you are, you’ll fit right in. It’s a real church about real people; a growing church and a church that proves that faith in Jesus brings results. Our vision for 2014 is “Growing Deeper Together In God.”

You are very welcome to attend any of our activities and you will find more information about them in the pages of this website. If you want to meet us informally as a family then why not come along to our ‘Movie Nights’? we hold them every 1st and Third Friday evenings. This is family entertainment and all the refreshments are free and there is no entry charge. We’re really looking forward to getting to know you!

Have you heard about our giveaways? Here’s a brief history:

Our giveaways started at The Farmer's Market in October 2022, from a desire to support our community. There was alot of interest, with over 40 people visiting the stall. However we wanted to reach those locally in need & the most vulnerable.

So, in February 2023 we started hosting the giveaways once every 3 weeks from the church hall.

Although a slow start, interest in the giveaways gathered momentum & a 2 weekly bakery giveaway was introduced by March 2023, in addition to the main giveaways.

Giveaways are currently held weekly. They support 30+ people each session, both attending & receiving food deliveries. Occasional ad-hoc days have also been added to facilitate other donations received & a growing demand in support.

We are very grateful to all those who have made the giveaways a success, whether it through giving or receiving, and we hope by the grace of God, that they will continue to expand and thrive, so we can give back to as much of our community as we can.

Following the resounding success of our giveaways at the local Farmer's Market, we will also be holding giveaways at our Church building once a month. Please do come along and spread the word to others, even if it's just for a warm drink and a chat. Dates as follows:

Church building: Saturdays 18th February, 18th March, 22nd April at 9am
Farmer's Market: Friday 27th January, 24th February, 31st March
