Get ready for an unforgettable night as Rye lights up for its annual Bonfire Night celebration! This Saturday, streets in the town centre will be buzzing with the Rye Bonfire procession, bonfire lighting, and a spectacular fireworks display. Hereβs everything you need to know to make the most of the evening:
π« Road Closures & Access Restrictions π«
To keep everyone safe, roads on the processional route will be closed to traffic from approximately 18:00 to 22:00. Trunk routes will be closed from 19:00 to 22:00. Please note that Rye railway station will be closed from 15:00 on Saturday until the next morning.
π Access Restrictions
From 16:00, parking restrictions begin along the processional route.
From 18:00, all vehicles must be cleared, and access will be strictly limited.

19:00 β Procession begins from Mason Road, Tilling Green Estate, marked by a loud maroon signal.
π Procession Route
Starting from Mason Road, the procession will pass through Ferry Road, Cinque Ports Street, Tower Street, Landgate Arch, Hilders Cliff (East Cliff), High Street, The Mint, Wish Ward, Cinque Ports Street, Tower Street, down Landgate, Bedford Place, and finally to the Bonfire site.
