Three reminders of events this week and next weekend which didn't make the notices this morning, but which could be of interest...

Saturday, 6th June. Veronica and David Whiting invite us to visit their wildlife friendly garden any time from 10am to 5pm at 21 Stourport Road, open to raise funds for Nightstop. Refreshments are available and plants are for sale. Please bring cash, not card, to pay. It's a lovely place to relax and meet friends while supporting this worthwhile charity.

Sunday, 7th June. "We Sing the River's Voice". This will be a singing Workshop at St Anne's Church, Bewdley, DY12 2AE from 12 to 1.30pm, followed by a Procession and Riverside Performance from 2pm-3pm. Led by Liz Dilnot Johnson, (composer in residence for Ex Cathedra Choir ). Booking is essential for the Workshop - please email [email protected]. For more details please see page 24 of June's Bridge magazine or speak to Elaine Barbour. This will be a fun and rewarding event and if you don't want to sing come along at 2.00pm and watch the procession and performance. This is the Headline Event for Sustfest 2026

And finally, this Thursday 4th June, it’s the Community Litter Pick starting from St Anne's Church at 9.30am. Walk around town for about ¾ of an hour and return to church for coffee and cake. Picking equipment provided, but bring your own gloves. You can even join in with jigsaw puzzling on your return.
