This Sunday we pause at the start of the month, and at the start of the new academic year, to pray and to receive from Jesus as we share communion together. Everyone is welcome, service starts at 10.45am

What a beautiful verse to meditate on this week! God invites us to dwell in His presence - to stay with Him. This invitation is echoed by Jesus, who says "abide in me, as I abide in you" (or "dwell in me, as I dwell in you"). Let's take up this invitation to stay in Him, peacefully, enfolded in His love, not rushing away or being distracted by so many other things. So take a moment, pause, and dwell in His presence.

"Do not fear, for I am with you" These beautiful words are repeated in Sunday's reading from Isaiah. Come and hear God's words of comfort for you. All are welcome - the service starts at 10.45am.

Your ways are not hidden from God - He is familiar with all your ways and He loves you, just as you are. Take a moment to pause and drink in that truth. God bless x

This Sunday at 10.45am we will continue to hear God's words of comfort from Isaiah chapter 40. We'll be thinking some more about strength, too! (See this week's mediation verse). All are welcome to come, we look forward to meeting you :)

Our meditation verse this week reminds us where our strength comes from. The Psalmist says to God "On the day I called, you answered me, you increased my strength of soul" (or, "you greatly emboldened me"). Our inner strength comes from God, when we ask Him. Whenever you need God’s strength, why not take a moment to pause, breathe, and pray these words for yourself.

Our verse this week reminds us to remember! Whenever we feel overwhelmed, let's look UP to the everlasting God, and look BACK to remember what He has done out of love for us. Remembering that the LORD loves us so much, we can trust Him when looking FORWARD.
Why not take a few moments today to pause, breathe, and remember x

New sermon series starting this Sunday, 9th August!
We'll be looking at the good news found in Isaiah chapters 40-55, summed up in God's comforting words: "I am with you."
