This Sunday we gather again around the communion table, in union with Christ and with one another. Followed by our church meeting where we will focus on Being the Body of Christ in this place at this time. Do come, all welcome. Service starts at 10.45am and children's activities are available.

Our meditation verse this week reminds us of God's love and compassion for his people (like the Shepherd watching over his sheep). Take a moment today to pause, breathe, and repeat this truth: The Lord surrounds His people with Love.

It was wonderful to pray with focus, between Ascension Day and Pentecost, for the Spirit to fill us and empower us to tell the good news of Jesus to those around us. And it was wonderful on the day of Pentecost to celebrate the gift of the Spirit!
But now, let's never stop praying! Let's rejoice, praising God in everything; let's pray always in all circumstances; and let's thank Him for His gifts, of forgiveness, new life, and his own Spirit living within.

Day 9 - The Spirit of Evangelism ✨

Today, let us pray that the Holy Spirit would help us respond to God’s prompting and become faithful witnesses to our Five.

Lord,
grant that I may always allow myself to be guided by You,
always follow Your plans, and perfectly accomplish Your Holy Will.
Help me respond to the slightest prompting of Your Grace,
so that I may be Your trustworthy instrument for Your honour.
May Your Will be done in time and in eternity by me, in me, and through me.

As we pray "Come, Holy Spirit" and wait for His empowering, we're excited to come together to celebrate His first outpouring at Pentecost and His presence with us now.
Do come and join us THIS Sunday morning, and join with all the churches together in a special Songs of Praise service in the afternoon.

We believe in HOPE not Hate
Yesterday in Shared Space we joined in with "A million Acts of Hope", making a Hope banner and asking "what gives you hope?" Here are some answers: 'My family gives me hope'; 'I wake up in the morning and I'm still alive'; Seeing a robin in my garden every morning'; 'Hope keeps us going when all else is gone'; 'my hope is in JESUS'
What gives you hope?
We aim that our Shared Space is a place of hope for all, whoever you are, however you are feeling. Drop in on Mondays, 10am-20pm.
A Million Acts of Hope

Jesus told his followers "wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about.... in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.” Acts 1:4-5
Lets pray, and wait, for this promised Spirit to empower us :)

Today marks Day 1 of Thy Kingdom Come 2026. ✨

As this year’s global wave of prayer begins, we invite you to join us over the next 11 days in praying, ‘Come Holy Spirit’, asking God to renew us by His Spirit and help us share His love with the Five people we are holding in prayer.

Let us pray that the Spirit will make us effective witnesses to our Five loved ones. 🙏

Oh Lord, never suffer us to think that we can stand by ourselves and not need You.

Today let us pray for his Spirit to give us confidence in Him, and confidence to speak of Him.

Today, let us pray that the Holy Spirit would help us respond to God’s call and share the Good News with our five loved ones.

Lord, give me what You are requiring of me.
