Great to welcome local families to our end of term Easter activities afternoon. The treasure hunt solving clues from the Easter story. Was probably the highlight. Along with various crafts, gardening, laying pebbles, at the foot of the cross, and a very splendid collage

Easter Activity Afternoon for Children 🌸

We’re excited to invite children and families to a fun-filled Easter afternoon at Avenue Baptist Church!

There will be something for everyone, including:
🎨 Arts & crafts
📖 Sharing the Easter story
🍫 Chocolate eggs
🌱 Gardening activities
🗺️ A treasure hunt

This is a wonderful opportunity for children to have fun, be creative, and learn about the true meaning of Easter in a welcoming environment.

If you enjoy a good sing along, enjoy spreading Joy to others and participating in your community. Check out SAWGO. Details below .

We are *SAWGO (Sing Along With Golden Oldies),* a choir which has been bringing joy through singing at local care homes and community events for older people for *the last 9 years* !

We’re now bringing together a *friendly pop-up choir* to sing *well-loved secular songs from the 50s-70s* for care-home residents in *Penge / Crystal Palace* - with music that sparks memories, lifts spirits, and creates moments of real connection 🎶

❤️ Short on time but big on heart?

📅 *Fri 27 Feb* : 2-hour rehearsal 7.30-9.30pm (at your hall)

📅 *Sun 1 Mar:* 3.5-hours afternoon (rehearsal 12.45-1.45pm / 2 x 30-mins performances: 2.15pm-4pm including travel time)

There’s *no long-term commitment*, just a chance to share the gift of music beyond your usual congregation.
