Along with other local churches, here at Christ Church we are taking part in an initiative called “Pray in May”. This week we have a number of prayer stations available for anyone who would like to come and pray - even if you do not consider yourself to be a person of faith, you are welcome to come in and take the opportunity to reflect in a quiet space. The church will be open from 10am until 4pm from Monday to Friday, and from 10am until noon on Saturday when we will also be holding our Plant Sale, Toy Sale and Clothes Swap.

Did you know that we run a Community Lunch on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month? Our wonderful team of volunteers provides a two course lunch, consisting of a jacket potato, a choice of fillings, salad and a pudding. There is no set charge - just pay what you can afford.

Today, on Ascension Day, we remember the moment Jesus ascended into heaven, 40 days after Easter, promising to remain with us through the Holy Spirit.

It is a day of hope, glory, and renewed purpose as we celebrate Christ’s reign and His call to share His love with the world. Join us in prayer today. ✨🙏

This summer Christ Church Chineham will be running a 7 session course called "Christianity Explored". Our Minister, Jonathan, will be leading the course which gives time and space to consider the big questions of life and explore the life of the person at the heart of the Christian faith - Jesus Christ. It involves studying together the Gospel of Luke together with the use of videos.

This free course is open to anyone interested in learning and understanding more about the Christian faith.
