This summer we are delighted to re-introduce our Holiday Bible Club!

The Rooted Squad HBC is for 5-11 year olds. It will be three mornings of fun and learning through a Bible Club themed around the Fruit of the Spirit, where children will discover that as they come to know Jesus as their Lord and remain connected to Him, their faith grows and peace, joy, and love overflow.

Our aim is to help children understand what it means to walk with Jesus, remain in Him and bear good fruit.

Our theme verse is: John 15:5 - "I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in me and I in them produces much fruit, because apart from me you can do nothing."

The club is free to attend, but please click on the link to sign your child(ren) up in advance.

Along with other local churches, here at Christ Church we are taking part in an initiative called “Pray in May”. This week we have a number of prayer stations available for anyone who would like to come and pray - even if you do not consider yourself to be a person of faith, you are welcome to come in and take the opportunity to reflect in a quiet space. The church will be open from 10am until 4pm from Monday to Friday, and from 10am until noon on Saturday when we will also be holding our Plant Sale, Toy Sale and Clothes Swap.

Did you know that we run a Community Lunch on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month? Our wonderful team of volunteers provides a two course lunch, consisting of a jacket potato, a choice of fillings, salad and a pudding. There is no set charge - just pay what you can afford.
