Progress picture

Squint and you will see it 👀

The ground wasquite literally swallowing this beautiful granite tablet. It was quite the dig to get it back up to the surface. New foundation laid underneath and finished with top soil and seed.

Once the weather is dry enough I will complete the lettering.

Barrow cemetery today for a tree memorial that was unfortunately pushing everything out of the way.

Replaced wooden surrounds & jointed for rigidity, de-w**ded & tidied up, laid w**d membrane, new white decorative stones & finished off by cleaning the ornaments.

Customer happy and permission given to post as always.

Over the past few days I have been at Barrow cemetery tackling the bacterial growth and deposits on a headstone which was erected over 100 years ago!! Who would have thought there was white marble underneath there.

I wanted just to add these progress pictures as I am unable to add the finishing touches today as I have come down with the worst man flu 😞. I will be going back to complete as soon as possible.

Lead lettering removed, deep cleaned with biological cleaning solution (no bleach, no acids), sealed with breathable sealant, letters painted with mirror black and a few more coats to come as well as a diamond polish and re-seal.

Family are over the moon with the results so far.
