Supporting Our Choir at St Paul's Cathedral

If you're joining us to support our Choir as they sing Evensong at St Paul's Cathedral tomorrow on Saturday 29th August, please note the following travel information:
The Northern Line will be closed for planned engineering works between High Barnet and Archway stations throughout the weekend. Rail replacement buses will operate to Archway during the day.
Please allow plenty of extra travel time, as the choir must be seated in the Quire by 4.40pm.
Members of the congregation attending Evensong can meet at the West End entrance from 4.30pm.

🎶 Organ Recital with Jonathan Gregory 🎶

Jonathan Gregory will be giving an organ recital at St Mary the Virgin Monken Hadley Church, EN5 5PZ on Saturday 12 September 2026. Welcome drinks from 6.30pm, Recital at 7pm.

The programme includes music by Bach, Mendelssohn, Bret and Stanley. Proceeds will support the Monken Hadley Church Music Fund.

During this period, please use the doors on the LEFT-HAND SIDE of the church to enter and exit the building.

We at SJB are looking for a Community Outreach Worker to help build relationships, strengthen community connections, and welcome more people into the life of the church.
We are now welcoming applications for either:
- The single full-time role (37.5 hours, combining both families & adults outreach);
- Either of the two part-time roles (18.75 hours each, focusing on one specific area: family and children or adults and older people).
Additionally, we want to make it clear that we are open to discussing flexible working arrangements, such as school hours, to fit the needs of the right candidate.
