Mountain Top Life Daily Devotional 21 March 2026 By Dr. D.K. Olukoya *– Lessons From The Life Of Jael (1)*

FIRE SCRIPTURE:
Judges 4:12-18 (KJV)

12 And they shewed Sisera that Barak the son of Abinoam was gone up to mount Tabor.

13 And Sisera gathered together all his chariots, even nine hundred chariots of iron, and all the people that were with him, from Harosheth of the Gentiles unto the river of Kishon.

14 And Deborah said unto Barak, Up; for this is the day in which the Lord hath delivered Sisera into thine hand: is not the Lord gone out before thee? So Barak went down from mount Tabor, and ten thousand men after him

15 And the Lord discomfited Sisera, and all his chariots, and all his host, with the edge of the sword before Barak; so that Sisera lighted down off his chariot, and fled away on his feet.

16 But Barak pursued after the chariots, and after the host, unto Harosheth of the Gentiles: and all the host of Sisera fell upon the edge of the sword; and there was not a man left.

17 Howbeit Sisera fled away on his feet to the tent of Jael the wife of Heber the Kenite: for there was peace between Jabin the king of Hazor and the house of Heber the Kenite.

18 And Jael went out to meet Sisera, and said unto him, Turn in, my lord, turn in to me; fear not. And when he had turned in unto her into the tent, she covered him with a mantle.

MEMORY VERSE:
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. – 2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV)

MOTIVATIONAL QUOTES:
The righteous are as bold as a lion.

PRAISE AND WORSHIP:
Take praise and worship songs as led by the Holy Spirit.

PROPHETIC WORD FOR TODAY: May the Spirit of boldness chase away every spirit of timidity in your life, in the Name of Jesus.

The Israelites were going to fight against the Canaanites who had oppressed them for twenty years. The Canaanites had nine hundred chariots of iron while Israel had barely enough men. The Lord had instructed Barak through Deborah the prophetess to lead the army of Israel and He had also told him that the glory would go to a woman. The Canaanite army was thoroughly defeated and their commander, Sisera, had to run away on foot. As Sisera ran, Jael came out to invite him into her tent.Devotional book

The first lesson we learn from Jael is boldness. She was bold enough to invite Sisera into her tent even though she could have been accused of adultery for inviting a man into her tent. Jael knew that she must fulfil God’s purpose, she must take the first step. There was no way she could have successfully fought with Sisera on the road. She decided to use a better weapon and she succeeded. Sisera took up her offer, thus, successfully setting her plan into motion.

As children of God, we are instructed to be bold as lions and harmless as doves (Matthew 10:16). In this world, we are surrounded by enemies who are like Sisera and the Canaanite army. They have chariots of iron; they are well equipped to trouble the people of God. However, we should not be afraid because the One Who lives inside of us is greater (1 John 4:4). When we are faced with challenging situations, we should not be afraid.

The Lord our God has promised to neither leave us nor forsake us so we have no reason to be afraid. Are you harassed by challenges of life? Rise up boldly today and speak the words of authority and victory. It’s time to rise and oppress all who have been oppressing the people of God. No more hiding away, no more fear of the agents of darkness. It’s time to face them head on and defeat them in combat by reason of the finished works of Christ.

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING

I receive the Spirit of boldness, in the Name of Jesus.

Every agent of darkness harassing me, I speak judgement upon you, in the Name of Jesus.

I frustrate every work of darkness against my life and my destiny, in the Name of Jesus.

Let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end, in the Name of Jesus.

I receive power to overcome all the challenges of life, in the Name of Jesus.

I will not give up; my enemies shall give up, in the Name of Jesus.

Henceforth, I walk in the Spirit of boldness, in the Name of Jesus.

Mountain Top Life Daily Devotional 20 March 2026 By Dr. D.K. Olukoya – *God Can Change Your Status (2)*

FIRE SCRIPTURE: Ruth 1:15-17 (KJV)

15 And she said, Behold, thy sister in law is gone back unto her people, and unto her gods: return thou after thy sister in law.

16 And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God:

17 Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the Lord do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me.

MEMORY VERSE: For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. – Romans 10:10 (KJV)

MOTIVATIONAL QUOTES: A man’s confession carries power; your confession can direct or alter the course of your life.

PRAISE AND WORSHIP: Take praise and worship songs as led by the Holy Spirit.

PROPHETIC WORD FOR TODAY: May your tongue speak words of life henceforth, in the Name of Jesus.

Today’s focus is on how the status of Ruth changed. By herself, she made a confession that came from the heart and not just her mouth. “And Ruth said, intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God: where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the LORD do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me” (Ruth 1:16-17).

It was a declaration of faith, trust and total allegiance to the God of Israel. She departed physically and spiritually from her former nation, culture and people, and committed the rest of her life unto the God of Israel. God received her and her status changed. Divine protocols were broken for her sake, mercy showed up through Boaz, and she came into the genealogy of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Her life story and her generation changed for good. The same can happen in your life.
Jesus has redeemed us from the law of sin and death through His shed Blood on the Cross of Calvary. All that is required of us is to confess with our mouth like Ruth did and accept His finished works. My advice for you this day is that you stop being a mere church goer and conformist. God sees your heart. He knows when you are totally committed to Him and when you are not. It does not matter how deeply rooted in sin and iniquity your foundation is, your ungodly activities of the past, or even the stinking condition of the present, God desires your confession, total and genuine repentance, and a commitment to continue with Him. He will give you a new beginning and a glorious future if you are bold enough to take this step of faith.

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING

Father, have mercy on me and forgive me all my sins, in the Name of Jesus.

I forsake my past and all that I used to be or do; I declare Jesus to be the Lord of my life, in the Name of Jesus.

I dedicate my life and all that is mine to the Lord God Almighty, in the Name of Jesus.

EVENING

Nothing shall pluck me out of the divine agenda, in the Name of Jesus.

Power to forsake the world and all that is in it, come upon me now, in the Name of Jesus.

O God, arise, make me Your own, in the Name of Jesus.

I receive the divine status of a bonafide child of God, a joint heir with Christ and a citizen of the commonwealth of Heaven, in the Name of Jesus.

Mountain Top Life Daily Devotional 26 February 2026 By Dr. D.K. Olukoya – *Doing Business God’s Way*

FIRE SCRIPTURE:

1 Corinthians 4:1-2 (KJV)

1 Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.

2 Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.

MEMORY VERSE:
Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. – Hebrews 4:13 (KJV)

MOTIVATIONAL QUOTES: Let God count on you.

PRAISE AND WORSHIP: Take praise and worship songs as led by the Holy Spirit.

PROPHETIC WORD FOR TODAY: You will not fail God, in the Name of Jesus.

There are some qualities that distinguish a Christian from others in the world of business, career, ministry, etc. These qualities are: integrity, stewardship, servant leadership, and a commitment to honouring God in all aspects of the business, career, or ministry. Every true believer must operate in every area of life in alignment with these Biblical principles and values. Integrity is honesty in all its ramifications. It is being truthful in all your dealings and avoiding every form of deceit. It means honouring all agreements and commitments. A true believer must show a good example wherever he finds himself, whether he is a leader, a teammate or a follower. We must remember that God sees the intent of our hearts and knows all that we do if they are hidden from men by whatever means. Proverbs 5:21 says, “For the ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord, and he pondereth all his goings.” You need to run your business in such a way that it will glorify God, not just to make money. In all that we do, the Bible enjoins us to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and every other thing will be added to us. It is an aberration to wear a different garb when it comes to business as a Christian. That would be pure hypocrisy. I have seen many Christian businessmen who say, “This is business, let’s put the Bible aside; business is business.” This is very wrong because Christians live on Biblical principles always and in all things.

Beloved, please do not copy the wolves in sheep’s clothing in the midst. Be a showpiece of God even in your business or workplace. The Lord is looking for those who will stand with Him at all times. Can He count on you?

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING

O God, give me the grace not to disappoint you, in the Name of Jesus.

O God, deliver me from the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and pride of life, in the Name of Jesus.

I shall not be overtaken by the spirit of mammon, in the Name of Jesus.

EVENING

Father, I declare that You are sufficient for me, in the Name of Jesus.

By the power in the blood of Jesus, I shall not fall for the devil’s manipulation, in the Name of Jesus.

Holy Spirit, lead me on the right path always, in the Name of Jesus.

O God, manifest Your power in my life, in the Name of Jesus.

Mountain Top Life Daily Devotional 25 February 2026 By Dr. D.K. Olukoya – *Be Careful For Nothing*

FIRE SCRIPTURE: Isaiah 41:10-15 (KJV)

10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

11 Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish.

12 Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought.
13 For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.

14 Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the Lord, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.

15 Behold, I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth: thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shalt make the hills as chaff.
MEMORY VERSE: Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. – Philippians 4:6 (KJV)

MOTIVATIONAL QUOTES: Fear not, and see the glory of God.

PRAISE AND WORSHIP: Take praise and worship songs as led by the Holy Spirit.

PROPHETIC WORD FOR TODAY: I pray that you will allow God to take absolute control of your situation, in the name of Jesus.

The devil has one weapon with which he easily finishes unwary believers. That is the weapon of anxiety. What is anxiety? It is the feeling of being very worried about the issues of life. Many people get so worried over situations and circumstances that they become sick, tired and unproductive. Some end up losing their minds out of hopelessness. Believers in Christ are not supposed to have this kind of attitude, but the devil ensures that he gets them to that point where they see impossibility instead of possibility. They think it is all over when God is yet to start with them because they have not given Him a chance to do so.

Psalm 23:1-6 puts it succinctly; it says, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.”

A good understanding of the above Scripture will put your mind at rest as a child of God concerning any challenge that you may be facing. Verse 4 is a great solace to us and it says, “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”
PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING

Father, let Your peace overshadow my life, in the name of Jesus.

The peace of God that passes all understanding, fill my heart, in the name of Jesus.

By the power in the blood of Jesus, I forbid the enemy from stealing my peace, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING

The Prince of peace, Jesus Christ, take absolute control of my life, in the name of Jesus.

Powers working to make me anxious, die, in the name of Jesus.

Anxiety demons troubling my life, die, in the name of Jesus.

O God, arise and trouble every troubler of my Israel, in the name of Jesus.

Mountain Top Life Daily Devotional 21 January 2026 By Dr. D.K. Olukoya – *Big Battles, Big Victories (1)*

FIRE SCRIPTURE:
Exodus 14:13-31 (KJV)

13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.

14 The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

15 And the Lord said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:

16 But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.

17 And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them: and I will get me honour upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.

18 And the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord, when I have gotten me honour upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.

19 And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them:

20 And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night.

21 And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.

22 And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.

23 And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the sea, even all Pharaoh’s horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.

24 And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the Lord looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians,

25 And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the Lord fighteth for them against the Egyptians.

26 And the Lord said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen.

27 And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the Lord overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.

28 And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them.

29 But the children of Israel walked upon dry land in the midst of the sea; and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.

30 Thus the Lord saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians; and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the sea shore.

31 And Israel saw that great work which the Lord did upon the Egyptians: and the people feared the Lord, and believed the Lord, and his servant Moses.

MEMORY VERSE: The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. – Exodus 14:14 (KJV)

MOTIVATIONAL QUOTES: When God is in charge, your victory is settled.

PRAISE AND WORSHIP: Take praise and worship songs as led by the Holy Spirit.

PROPHETIC WORD FOR TODAY: The Lord of hosts, the Man of War, is fighting your battles and you are victorious, in the Name of Jesus.

God often proves Himself as the Mighty Man in Battle when His children are confronted by formidable enemies and tough opponents. It is only in such instances that they can experience big victories. Sometimes, God may not show up in your situation until the battle seems insurmountable. It is an opportunity for Him to prove His awesome power. There are a good number of such instances recorded in the Bible.

Moses and his people were confronted with the Red Sea on their way to the Promised Land. Humanly speaking, they had to either retreat or get drowned. Amazingly, God came to their rescue by parting the Red Sea. Strangely, the same sea that opened for their deliverance became the cemetery of their enemies. Pharaoh, his horsemen and their chariots got drowned in the sea. Awesome God! A big victory indeed!

In 2 Chronicles chapter 20, Jehoshaphat, the king and the people of Judah were confronted with allied enemies – the Moabites, Ammonites and others. Jehoshaphat did not waste time in crying to God for deliverance and victory over this great opposition. He confessed their helplessness. God saw their sincerity and the Word of the Lord came to him. It was an assurance of victory, God’s comforting words put his mind at rest. God asked the singers to go before the soldiers, this was absolutely awkward, but everything is possible with the Almighty. His praises went before, to prove that God dwells in the praises of His people to declare judgement upon their enemies. The victory was unprecedented. The enemies destroyed one another. The children of Judah actually fought no battle. They only stepped in to collect the spoil. This is nothing but a proof of God’s awesome power to deliver His own, no matter the fierceness of the enemy.

God is still in the same business. He will fight for you in that battle that seems bigger than you. You only need to learn how to call upon Him in prayer and believe that He who did it before, will do it.

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING

O Lord, arise for me as the Mighty Man in battle, in the Name of Jesus.

Every Red Sea confronting me, be parted, in the Name of Jesus.

O Lord, let my wicked enemies drown in their own Red Sea, in the Name of Jesus.

EVENING

O God, arise and silence the tumultuous situations in my life, in the Name of Jesus.

O God, give me total victory over battles that are bigger than me, in the Name of Jesus.

Evil confederation of wicked enemies assigned against me, be destroyed, in the Name of Jesus.

With the weapon of praise in my mouth, I declare my total deliverance from wicked enemies, in the Name of Jesus.
