Better Balmedie

Better Balmedie Better Balmedie is a group of local volunteers working together for the improvement of Balmedie.

Since August 2009 Better Balmedie volunteers have been involved in a whole range of activities throughout the village: installing planters and barrels, planting and maintaining the flower displays, installing benches, clearing paths, litter picking and generally keeping the village looking good. Better Balmedie is based next to Balmedie Congregational church where volunteers are creating a garden, plants are grown, plans are made and volunteers meet.

Hi everyone, Better Balmedie won't be having a one-day Plant Sale this year. Instead, we will be selling hanging baskets and door-step pots similar to last year...these should be available some time in June...we will let you know! We are growing plants to fill the village planters, but we will also sell any spare stock on Thursday and Saturday mornings from June onwards 10 am to 12 noon.
Please please share this post as much as you can! Our "likes" have dropped, but you can help by sharing with friends and neighbours and helping to boost our funds which all go towards trying to keep the village looking good! Thankyou

Now that it is officially spring, Better Balmedie members are back at work on Thursday and Saturday mornings from 10 to 12. We would love to welcome new members to join us to help keep the village looking colourful and cared for. To find out more, comment below and we will get in touch.
