As many of you will be aware, Martin from church is training to become a Diocesan Evangelist in Diocese of Down & Dromore .

Martin Fell has a lifelong love of motorcycles and motorsport—but now rides with a greater purpose.
Currently training as an Evangelist with the Diocese of Down & Dromore, Martin is passionate about sharing faith both on the road and in everyday life.

This Friday night we are hosting a Prayer and Praise event where churches can gather to intercede for our communities.

Run by the Peninsula Prayer and Praise Watch, the service starts at 7.30pm and is followed by refreshments.

All are welcome; and it is hoped that many different churches will be represented.

A new Church of Ireland Child Safeguarding Policy was implemented on 7 May 2026 at General Synod and replaces Safeguarding Trust. The policy is live and must be adhered to, so we urge parishes to make sure they are acquainted with the new policy in full. This will include immediately updating posters and informing the parish panel and youth and children’s leaders of the new reporting procedures. You're invited to join us this Sunday for a special Cafe Church.

It's Pentecost Sunday and we would love you to gather with us in our Parochial Hall at 11am as we celebrate the birthday of the church and the coming of the Holy Spirit.

There will be bacon butties and refreshments from 10.30am and the service is very child friendly and family orientated.

Young Life Capernaum are hoping to start a Club on the Peninsula for teenagers with additional needs and their families.

To find out more, and also for anyone interested in helping with a potential club, then come along to an information meeting in Ballywalter Parochial Hall (south end of the village) this Saturday (23 May) at 10-11.30am; bacon butties available as well as tea and coffee.

Two opportunities to gather for worship tomorrow ...

11am in Holy Trinity Church. Continuing our journey through the minor prophets ... this week Amos.
Refreshments from 10.30am and Sunday club for children.

6pm for our contemorary time of praise. Worship led by Jonny Matchet, with teaching from Colin Davis, (Christ Church, Carrowdore & St. Patrick's Church, Millisle).
