9th Route (Finvoy) Company of the Boys’ Brigade recommences on Friday 18th September. Please not the times for the relevant sections.

Parents are asked to accompany boys for the first evening to register. New members will be made most welcome.

Come along to the church hall for our Mothers & Toddlers on Monday mornings. A warm and welcoming group where little ones can play while carers share fellowship together.

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

The solar eclipse has featured heavily on the news today. Science explains that it is caused by the coincidence of the relative sizes and distances of the sun and moon from the earth.

It is no mere coincidence that the sun and moon are their respective sizes and positions in our solar system. Any difference would put our very existence in jeopardy. They have been placed to perfection in the heavens by the Lord God Almighty.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars.

God saw all that he had made, and it was very good.

We’re very pleased to be hosting the annual vehicle run organised by Wilson Campbell and his family.

You are welcome to join the run in whatever age of vehicle that you have or call up and see the vehicles before they head off. Tea for everyone will follow in the church hall.

All donations on the evening will go to help the work of Cancer Research UK.

Next week sees the annual vehicle run starting off from Garryduff Presbyterian Church Hall.

Whether your vehicle is old or new, you’re most welcome to come along and take part. Or if you would like to call up and see the display of cars prior to departure then you are welcome to do that.

Following the run there will be refreshments in the church hall.

The annual Orange service will take place in our church on Sunday afternoon at 3:30pm. You don’t need to be wearing a sash or band uniform to attend. Everyone is welcome to come along to worship God.
