It’s the Eve of our next big parish event tomorrow! The weather is still being kind to us but if you have an Infant of Prague, put it out anyway! There will be cold refreshments and homebaking in the marquee in the gardens as well as face painting, hand tattoos and outdoor games for the kids! BBQ food goes without saying!! 🍔🌭 In the St Francis committee room there will be comfier seating, tea and coffee and homebaking also! Looking forward to seeing everyone and having a great afternoon! 💛

We had a team of parish volunteers out last Sunday morning setting up marquees and preparing for our BBQ on Sunday! 🌭🍔 Many thanks to those who have been involved in front of and behind the scenes! The efforts have been phenomenal and will contribute to the BBQ being a great success! It looks like the weather is also going to be on our side 🙌🏽😎

Our Parish BBQ is two weeks tomorrow! 😎 The biggest effort required by volunteers will be putting up the marquees next Sunday 7th after 11am mass in St Francis! We need another 8-10 volunteers and this should take about an hour if we get enough helpers. Please comment below if you can help with this task or message Elizabeth McGlone on 07841 908121. Constructing the marquees will be essential to the whole event being a success! ⛺️🌭🍔 Thankyou for your support. 🙏🏽

Fr Devlin is hosting a Parish BBQ in the gardens of St Francis Church in June. Details are on the flyer below. Volunteers to help before, during and after the event will be essential to make the day a success! Please can you contact Fr Devlin or Elizabeth McGlone on 07841 908121 or comment on this post if you can help out. We will need assistance with the following:

Transporting the BBQ and Marquees from St Bridget’s to St Francis.
Putting up and dismantling the Marquee
Setting up tables and chairs in the garden
Setting up outdoor games
Homebaking donations
Donating or lending at outdoor games
Face painting

As in previous years, there will be no charge for this parish event but donations will be most welcome.
