Our church is looking especially beautiful this Easter 🌸✨

We’re so grateful for the stunning floral displays that have been lovingly arranged throughout the church, bringing colour and life to this joyful season. Some sit perfectly within our historic stained glass windows, glowing in the light and creating such a special atmosphere.

Do take a moment to visit our Easter garden, on display in the porch - a simple and moving reminder of the Easter story ✝️

If you’re passing by, we’d love you to pop in and see everything for yourself. The church is open all week, and all are very welcome 💛

Happy Easter! 🌸✝️

What a joy it was to see the church so full as we gathered to celebrate together this morning. Thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a special and uplifting service.

It was lovely to spend time together afterwards too - thank you to all who stayed for a drink and a chat. These moments of community mean so much.

A special thank you as well to our brilliant bell ringers, whose wonderful ringing helped mark the occasion so beautifully. 🔔

Wishing you all a joyful and peaceful Easter.

🌼 April at St John the Baptist, Hawkchurch 🌼

Join us this April as we gather for a season of reflection, celebration, and community.

We begin with a special Good Friday service at 3pm on 3rd April, a quiet and meaningful time to pause and reflect, before celebrating the joy of Easter Sunday at 11am on 5th April.

Our regular Sunday services continue throughout the month at 11am, with a mix of Morning Worship, Holy Communion, and Songs of Praise—each one welcoming, relaxed, and open to all.

Whether you come every week or haven’t been for a while, you’ll find a warm welcome here. Families and children are always very welcome, and we now have a new children’s corner to help little ones feel at home during the service.

☕️ Drinks are served after every service, so do stay for a chat.

We’d love to see you.
