St Stephen’s Church, Audenshaw St Stephen’s Church, Audenshaw, is a Church of England church and welcomes everyone! Our Sunday service is at 11am and our midweek is on wednesdays at 6:30pm.

We have tots group on mondays 9-11 in term time and our Wednesday social 11-1. Welcome to St Stephen's Church. Our weekly services are:
Sunday - Holy Communion 11am
- Sunday School runs along side this service
Wednesday - Holy Communion 6.30pm

Just a reminder there is no service this evening but please join us at our Maundy Thursday Service, 6.30pm, Good Friday Service, 11am and Easter Sunday, 11am.

On Saturday we will be holding our annual Easter Egg Hunt. 12noon. There will be crafts, tombola and light refreshments. Entry free for all.

Today is the Feast of the Annunciation, which marks the visit of the angel Gabriel to the Virgin Mary, announcing that she was to become the mother of Jesus.

The Feast falls exactly nine months before Christmas Day, when we celebrate Jesus’ birth.

“And now, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you will name him Jesus.

He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give to him the throne of his ancestor David.”

Luke 1.31-32

Loving God, mother of us all, we give thanks for the life you have brought to birth in us and for the tender care that sustains us every day. We thank you for our mothers, for those who have nurtured us, and for all who share in the gift of love and guidance. May your Spirit continue to shape, heal, and guide us today. Amen.
