We are planning to meet again this Sunday. I think we will have to start out a little earlier. Can we meet at 1pm at the bottom of the hill. Thinking about light and dark and tree decorating. Making popcorn and lighting our fire. Hopefully the shelter will still be up after Arwen and Barra! Please let me know if you are coming.

Thanks to Christine for adding her family photos! I am always too busy enjoying myself to take pictures.
Another wonderful afternoon spent in the woods. We lit the fire, made hot chocolate and then made journey sticks before exploring the woodland and adding things to our stick, we then gathered around the fire and talked about what made those things on our stick important and why we chose them, we then wondered how many times we had walked past them before really taking time out to notice the intricate details that made them stand out and tell a piece of the story. It was warm and sunny and we had a lovely relaxing afternoon together.

Outdoor Church this Sunday.
We might even be able to use our shelter. We haven’t had any rain since we started in June.
I am looking forwards to being back.
No doubt we will be cooking and brewing on the fire, there will be some task or other (I haven’t thought about it much yet), conversations will happen and there will be time for contemplation, silence, awe and wonder!
If interested then please get in touch, there are loads of spaces. Open to all ages but due to the terrain on the way to the camp, no prams or infirmity I’m afraid.
