"We will remember them." 🪖

Yesterday we came together to give thanks and remember those who have served in our World Wars and those who have and continue to serve in conflicts ongoing today.

If you would like to join us for our Armistice Day service tomorrow (Tuesday 11th), please join us at the War Memorial outside church, followed by paying respects at the war graves in the cemetery. This will be done in the context of a short act of worship. Teas and coffees will be served in the church afterwards.

(A special shout out to St Johns Ambulance Andover division for being on hand and doing a fantastic job with those needing support. 🚑)

Jesus is the Light of the World! ✝️💡🌎
We had the best time last Friday night at our Light Party.

Crocodile Kev and Navigator Natalie went back to the Jungle (following on from our Holiday Club over the Summer) and learned that the Jesus came to bring the light for each of us (like a torch 🔦) and then calls us to share it with everyone we know - (like a candle 🕯)!

A huge thanks to the team who helped make the evening possible and for everyone who came along. Some amazing jungle animal outfits as well! 🐯🐍🐝🐞🦋

Why do we share the "peace" in church on a Sunday? 👋

Well, aside from a great chance to say hello to one-another, it's rooted in the Biblical principle of unity and symbolises the peace of Christ. The church is often referred to as "one body" meaning that we love, forgive and greet each other with that same love Jesus showed us in His body.

🍞 9am (Holy Communion)
🎶 10:45am (Contemporary)
Our tots, kids and youth ministries are back on this week as well.

🇬🇧 We just wanted to let you know that, sadly, we won’t be able to raise the Union Jack flag on our St Mary’s tower this year for Remembrance. The ladder that gives access to the roof is currently out of action due to a fault, and unfortunately the essential repairs won’t be finished in time for Remembrance Sunday.

We’d still love for you to join us for our Remembrance Day Service at St Mary's on Sunday 9th of November — starting in the church at 10am and continuing outside on the green for the Civic Service as we approach 11am. All are also welcome for our Armistice Service at 11am on Tuesday 11th of November, beginning at the War Memorial and moving through the War Graves in the churchyard.
