Today, on the 165th anniversary of her death, we remember Mother Teresa Ball (1794–1861) — a visionary woman of faith who carried Mary Ward's spirit into a new century. Founder of the Loreto branch of our Institute in Ireland, she opened doors of education for girls and women across continents, believing deeply that Mary Ward was right, when she proclaimed that "women in time to come will do much."

Teresa Ball's courage, humility and trust in God continue to inspire our Mary Ward family worldwide. May her legacy keep calling us to bold service, justice and the dignity of every person. 🌍💛
