🚲The Lloyds Tour of Britain Women, expected times in Allonby 12.28 to 12.45. Lets all get out to support this event and show the amazing community we have 🚲

The Women's Tour of Britain has arrived!

Please be aware of delays and road closures around West Cumbria, tomorrow (19th August), please be patient and enjoy the event.

The expected times are as follows -

• Whitehaven: 11:43 to 11:55
• High Harrington: 11:57 to 12:07
• Workington: 12:01 to 12:17
• Flimby: 12:12 to 12:25
• Maryport: 12:16 to 12:30
• Allonby: 12:28 to 12:45
• Silloth: 12:44 to 13:04
• Wigton: 13:12 to 13:38
• Caldbeck: 13:30 to 14:00
• Aspatria: 14:00 to 14:37
• Cockermouth: 14:21 to 15:50

Lead vehicles may arrive about 15 minutes before the riders.

Whilst on mobile patrol this afternoon, the teams have been sighted getting a feel for the course.

Enjoy the day, take in the atmosphere and good luck to all the riders.

Absolutely no words other than AMAZING! The bus shelters are looking absolutely fantastic and nearly all ready for the Lloyds Tour of Britain Women passing through on Wednesday 19th August around Midday. A massive huge THANK YOU to Ian Beardy Synergy , Allonby Community Forum, Nikki, Stuart, Mike, Keith, Alan and everyone who has supported, contributed and provided positive feedback about how they are looking so far. 🎨🖌. We are looking for as much involvement and feedback as possible. Please join Allonby Community Forum at Seaglass Coffee & Taproom Allonby tomorrow (Saturday 15th August) at 3pm to look over the Moodboards, show your support and provide your feedback.
Let's get the bus stops looking fantastic for the AMAZING Ladies The Tour of Britain Riders event which will passing through Allonby on the 19th August 🚵‍♂️🚴‍♀️

When providing feedback it would be great to give some context as to what aspects you like and maybe dont like as much. We are on a very limited time frame so as much feedback with context is appreciated, this will then go towards the final designs being created on each of the three bus stops.

Hello everyone! Quick update on the bus‑stop artwork project and a reminder that the images you’ve seen are moodboards, not final designs. They’re just to help us shape the look and celebrate the amazing Women’s The Tour Of Britain riders.

Your feedback has been brilliant so far, keep it coming, especially the specific bits (lettering, colours, oystercatcher, jersey style). It all helps.
