The parish council hopes you enjoy sitting on the four new bespoke benches that have been installed outside the Hind's Head Co-op, at Petypher Gardens open space, in the playground and at Wellington Way open space. These were commissioned by the council using Section 106 monies for public art and are part of a bench trail through the village. The playground bench was designed using drawings provided by children at John Blandy School and the others all draw on village history and local buildings. These four benches join the two existing ones at Latton Close and Draycott Road. All were created by the fantastic Greenspace Designs Ltd - we hope you enjoy a little rest on one of them soon!

Notice of Casual Vacancy - a vacancy exists in the office of Parish Councillor for Kingston Bagpuize with Southmoor Parish Council.

The vacancy will be filled by election if, within fourteen working days of the date of this notice, any ten local government electors for the said parish submit a written request to the Returning Officer, Vale of White Horse District Council, Abbey House, Abbey Close, Abingdon, OX14 3JE. Please see notice on website at https://kbs-parishcouncil.gov.uk/notice-of-casual-vacancy/. If there is no election the parish council will fill the vacancy by co-option (more details will be provided at that time).
