Thanks for praying about the outreach yesterday. We got to witness to a lot of people and made some good connections with locals. Pray God will keep working in their hearts.

Tomorrow is the Fête de Cuir in Bort-les-Orgues. It's held right outside our church building all day and is a fantastic opportunity for evangelism. This is a picture from last year. Please pray for open doors and clear opportunities to witness.

We've taken one of the rooms of the house and created a school room. We found the school desk at a Goodwill style store. The girls already love it.
We had a home inspection this past Friday which is a precursor to being allowed to homeschool. The ladies who came over asked a lot of questions about why we wanted to homeschool. But by the end of the visit we think they accepted our explanation. This visit was separate from the appeal we sent in. A lot of bureaucracy at work.

May 8th France celebrates the end of WWII. Every village commemorates this holiday with ceremonies like this one.

Extra special today for us was that we met the new mayor of Lanobre as well as the person who will do our home visit for homeschool approval. We had really good conversations with both of them.

Everything has gone from brown to green in just a week here. It's amazing to see Spring arrive.

Three years. Can you believe it's already been three years since we moved to France? So much has changed (in good ways).

Last month the town where our church is located, Bort-les-Orgues, had elections for the mayor. This man, Jouve, is the new mayor and is more open to our church having a larger presence in the community.

We enjoyed having Chicago friends Heather and Grace come visit us last week. We made sure to treat them to some local foods like a giant eclair and some kebab sandwiches.
