Biblical Counsel on Eternal Security and Saving Faith 💢💢💢💢💢💢

💢 Introduction

Eternal security is not a promise for everyone who merely claims to be a Christian, but for those who truly possess saving faith.

The Bible warns that counterfeit faith and false professions will not stand before God (Matthew 7:21–23).

Therefore, it is necessary for all who believe themselves to be saved to examine their faith (2 Corinthians 13:5) and ensure it is genuine according to the Word of God.

1. The Nature of Saving Faith

Saving faith is more than intellectual agreement.

♻️ It includes:

👉 Knowing God and His will (John 17:3; Hosea 6:6).

👉 Believing in Him with the heart, not only with words (Romans 10:9–10).

👉 Trusting Him fully for salvation (Proverbs 3:5–6; John 14:1).

👉 Obeying Him as proof of genuine discipleship depends on His word ( Bible ) John 14:15; James 2:17

Key Truth: True faith is alive, active, and fruitful—it connects us to God’s grace and the promise of eternal life (Ephesians 2:8–10).

2. The Promise of Eternal Security

God assures those who are truly His that their salvation is secure:

📖 " I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can sn**ch them out of My hand.” (John 10:28–29)

📖 " There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” (Romans 8:1)

📖 " He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 1:6)

Key Truth: Eternal security is the promise of God’s power to keep His children, not a license to sin.

3. The Danger of Counterfeit Faith

Not all who claim salvation possess saving faith.

The Bible warns against counterfeit Christianity:

🚫 False professors: “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven…” (Matthew 7:21–23).

🚫 Unfruitful faith: “Faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.” (James 2:17).

🚫 Hardened hearts: “If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left…” (Hebrews 10:26–27).

Key Truth: Those without saving faith remain under eternal judgment (John 3:18; Revelation 21:8).

4. The Daily Examination of Faith

True believers are called to continually examine and grow in their faith:
" Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves.” (2 Corinthians 13:5)

" Work out your salvation with fear and trembling.” (Philippians 2:12–13)

" Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation.” (1 Peter 2:2)

Practical steps:

1. Daily meditation on God’s Word (Psalm 1:2; Colossians 3:16).

2. Persistent prayer and trust in Christ (1 Thessalonians 5:17).

3. Obedience and service to the Gospel, even at great cost (Romans 12:1; 2 Timothy 4:2).

5. The Assurance of Eternal Rewards

Those who continue in saving faith will receive eternal life and reward:

" Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.” (Revelation 2:10).

" Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord… will award to me on that day.” (2 Timothy 4:8).

" Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your Lord.” (Matthew 25:21).

💢Conclusion

• Eternal security belongs only to those who possess genuine saving faith.

• Counterfeit faith leads to eternal perishing.

• Believers must daily examine and grow in faith, serving the Gospel with boldness.

• God, in His mercy and love through Christ’s cross, secures His children forever.

የትንቢተ ዕንባቆም መጽሐፍ ዳሰሳ ማጠቃለያ

ክፍል ሁለት

እግዚአብሔር ለእኛ ያለው ዕቅድ ምን እንደ ሆነ ማወቅ ስንፈልግ ፍቃዱን በታላቅ ፍረሃትና አክብሮት ጥያቄአችንን ማቅረብ እንደ ተፈቀደ ልብ ይሏል።

ይሁን እንጂ ከምናየው ፣ ከምንሰማው እና በራሳችንም ከደረሰው የሰዎች ግፍ ፣ ክፋት እንዲሁም በምድራችን ፣ በሐገራችን ፣ በቤተክርስቲያናችን ፣ በቤታችን ፍትህ መጓደል ፣ ህግ ድል ባለመንሳት ምክንያት እንደ ሚታወቀው እግዚአብሔር ከቁጣው ይልቅ ዝምታው ሲያይልብን ግራ በመጋባት በማወቅም ባለማወቅም አብዛኛው ጸሎቶቻችን ሙግት ይሆን ይሆናል።

ምን አልባትም የእግዚአብሔርን የቅጣት ብትር በክፉዎች ላይ ስንጠባበቅ ይብሱን ይበረቱ ፣ ይበለጽጉ እንዲሁም በእግዚአብሔር ላይ በቀጥታ አመጻቸውን በክፋታችው ይገልጡ ይሆናል።

በተቀራኒው ደሞ ከክፉዎች ተጽዕኖ የተነሳ ጻድቆች በህፍረት ፣ በውርደትና በጭንቀት በታላቅም ጉስቅልና ለመኖር እንገደድ ይሆናል።

ነገሮች ሁሉ ሲዛቡና ግራ ሲያጋቡን ለህልውናችንም እጅግ አስቸጋሪ አስጨናቂ ነገር ሲፈጠር የጌታም አሠራር ከዚህ በፊት ከምናውቀውና ከለመድነው ሲለይብን እንደ ዕንባቆም ግራ በመጋባት ለምን ? እንዴት ? ወዴት ? እስከመቼ ? ይሆናል ሙግታችን ፣ ጸሎታችን ፣ ልመናችን እና ኑሮአችን ።

እንዲህ አይነት ውዝግብ ውስጥ ስንገባ ማስተዋል ከሚኖርብን ነገሮች በጥቂቱ:-

1ኛ. እግዚአብሔር በተቀደሰ መቅደሱ እንዳለና በፊቱ ዝም ማለት እንደሚገባን ማለትም ቡዙ ያወቅን እየመሰለን በሥራው መግባት እንደሌለብን መገንዘብ ይኖርበናል። ( ምዕ.2:20)

2ኛ. ምንም አይነት ክፈት ፣ በደል ፣ ግፍ ወዘተ ቢበዛ በእግዚአብሔር አሠራር ግራ በመጋባት እንደ ነብዩ ዕንባቆም ሙግት ከመግጠም ይልቅ በእርሱ በመተማመን በትዕግስት በመጠበቅ በሕይወት ለመኖር አቋም መያዝ ይገባል። ( ምዕ 2: 4 )

3ኛ. እግዚአብሔር ስለ ብዙሃን ድነት ስለሚታገስ ፍርዱ ቢዘገይ በእርግጥ የተናገረው እንደ ሚፈጸም በጊዜው የማስተካከያ እርምጃው እንደ ሚገለጥ ማወቅ ግድ ይላል።
(ምዕራፍ 1:5-11፣ 2:3-19)

4ኛ. እግዚአብሔር ኤልሻዳይ (ሁሉን ቻይ) እና ሁሉም ነገር በቁጥጥሩ ሥር ያለ ሁሉን የሚያውቅ ( omniscient ) ልዑል አምላክ በመሆኑ የሚያስጨንቀንን ለእርሱ መተው እንደ ሚገባ ልንረዳ ይገባል ።

እግዚአብሔር በሥራ ላይ እንዳለ ልናውቅና በእርጋታ ልንቀመጥ ያስፈልጋል።

እርሱ እንደተናገረው አይዘገይም ቃሉን ይጠብቃልና ልንተማመንበት ይጠበቅበታል።

ምንም እንኳ የእርሱን ክብር ክፉት ከመብዛቱ የተነሳ እምበዛም የሚታይ ባይመስልም እርሱ ግን በዙፉኑ ላይ ነው።

ከእርሱ የተሰወረ ነገር የለም።

ሁሉንም አስቀድሞ ያውቃል።

ለእያንዳንዳችሁም እንደ ሥራቸው እሰጣችኋለሁ ብሏልና። ( ራዕይ 2:23 )

በሚደርስብንና በምናየው ግፍ ፣ በደል ፣ ክፋት ፣ አድልኦ ፣ ፍትህ ማጣት ፣ የሕግ ድል አለመንሳት ፣ የንጹሃን ደም በከንቱ መፍሰስ እግዚአብሔር በዝምታ አያልፈውምና ለቅጣቱ ሲዘገይ ግራ በመጋባት በእርሱ በማጉረምረም ፍርዱን ከክፎዎች ጋር እንዳንቋደስ በንሰሃና በእምነት በህይወት መኖር ይበጃል።

ይልቁን በማንኛውም ፤ በምንም ሁኔታ ውስጥ ብንሆን ፤ በህይወት ዘመናችን ሁሉ ይህን የመጽሐፍ ቅዱሳዊ የእምነት ቃል አቋም በጽኑ ይዞ መጠበቁ ምነኛ መልካም ነው ?

" ጌታ እግዚአብሔር ኃይሌ ነው ፤ እግሮቼን እንደ ዋላ እግሮች ያደርጋል ፤ በከፍታዎችም ላይ ያስሄደኛል። " ምዕ 3:19

" 1 አቤቱ፥ በአንተ ታምኛለሁና

እውነተኛውን መጽሐፍ ቅዱሳዊ የድነት ወንጌል እየተካ ስላለው ስለ ብልጽግና ወንጌል እንቅስቃሴ እና ስለ ብልጽግና ሰባኪያን በተመለከተ እንዴት ተረዳተረዳችሁ?

" የእምነት ቃል እንቅስቃሴ " ተብሎ የሚታወቀው የብልጽግና ወንጌል እንቅስቃሴ አራማጆች እግዚአብሔርን ለሚፈልጉት ብልጥግና ስኬት እንዲጠቀሙት ነው አማኙን የሚሰብኩት ወይም የሚያስተምሩት።

ማለትም እነርሱ እንዲሳካላቸው ለሚፈልጉት ሥጋዊ መሻት ስኬት እንደ መገልገያ ሃይልነት ብቻ እንዲጠቀሙት ነው አነቃቂ ስብከታቸው።

የእውነተኛ ክርስትና አስተምህሮ ደግሞ በተቃራኒው
እግዚአብሔር በአማኙ እንዲገለገል ነው ። ወይም አማኙ ለእግዚአብሔር ክብር አገልግሎት እንዲውል ነው።

የብልጽግና ወንጌል ሥነ-መለኮት መንፈስ ቅዱስን አማኙ የሚፈልገውን መሻት ለማግኘት እንደ መጠቀሚያ ሃይል ነው የሚያዬት ወይም የሚሰብኩትት ማለትሞ የተፈጥሮ ምጡቅ ሀይል :- Supernatural power ) እንደ ሚሉት ፌዘኞች ።

ከጥንት ጀምሮ በሳይንስ ልብወለድ ቅዠታሞች በጻፉት ጹህፎች እንደ ሚነበቡት :- እግዚአብሔር ከሁሉ የሚበልጥ ታላቅ ምጡቅ ሃይል ነው።

ፍጥረትም ሁሉ የዚህ ታላቅ ሃይል ክፍል ነው ይሉና ስለዚህም ሰው የዚህ ሃይል ክፍል ስለሆነ የሚሻው ነገር በማግኔጥዛዊ ስብት ማግኘት እንደሚቻል ይሰብካሉ።

'' የቃል ድግግሞሽ '' ይህን ማግነጢዛዊ ስበት ወደ ህዋው የስርጭት ዋነኛ ሀይል ነው ብለውም ይተርካሉ።

ስለዚህም ሜዲተት የምታደርጉትን ( የምትመሰጡበትን ) መሻት ቃል አውጡ ( positive Confess ) ታገኘዋለህ ( claim it , deserve it ) ወይም ትወርሰዋለህ ወይም የተመኘህው ይሳካልሃል ብለው ከሚሰብኩት ከፍልስፍና ጹሑፎች ሙሉ በሙሉ በሚመስል ደረጃ በመውሰድ ለድነት መንፈሳዊ ብልጽግና የተጻፈውን ቅዱሱን የእግዚአብሔርን ቃል አስገድደው ለዚህ እንቅስቃሴያቸው እንደ ማስረጃ ሲጠቀሙ ይስተዋላሉ ።

መጽሐፍ ቅዱሰ ግን የእግዚአብሔር መንፈስ (መንፈስ ቅዱስ) አማኝ ክርስቲያኑ ሁሉንም ነገር እንደ እግዚአብሔር ፍቃድ ማድረግን የሚያስችል ወይም ማድረግ እንዲችል የሚረዳ ማንነት ያለው እንደ ሆነ ነው አስተምህሮቱ።

ይህ እንቅስቃሴ የቅዱሳንን ዘላለማዊ ተስፋ የሚያጨልም ከመሆኑ አልፎ የእግዚአብሔርን ቅዱስ መንፈስ ለቁሳዊ ሀብት ወይም ብልጽግና ሥጋዊ ምኞት መጠቀሚያ የተፈጥሮ ጠቅላይ ምጡቅ ሃይል አድርጉ ለመጠቀም በመጣጣር ይቅር ለማይባል ድፈረት የሚያጋልጥ ነው።

🤦‍♂️🤦‍♀️ ከዚህ አይነት ይቅር ከማይባል ድፍረት ይሰውረን ! 😭😭
