Life gets messy and things don't always go the way we want or imagined. But here's the good news: Jesus has already overcome the world.

So even when life feels overwhelming, we don't have to be. We can take heart, knowing that our peace isn't found in having an easy life, but in knowing that the One who holds us will help us go and grow through it.

Loving people deeply isn't always easy, especially when we've been hurt because of mistakes that were made, intentionally or not. But that's exactly the kind of love God has shown us.

1 Peter 4:8 calls us to love one another deeply, because "love covers a multitude of sins." It doesn't ignore sin or pretend it never happened. Instead, it chooses forgiveness and makes room for restoration, just as God has done (or is doing) for us.

Just as God loved us with grace and truth, may we extend that same love to others—not by affirming what is wrong, but by forgiving, speaking the truth in love, and pointing one another toward the restoration found in Christ.

A lot of times, we try so hard to make ourselves "good enough" for God. We strive to earn what He has already made available through Christ. But salvation has never been about our own efforts—it has always been about placing our faith in Jesus. What we could never accomplish on our own, Christ has already accomplished for us through the cross.

That's why Romans 10:13 reminds us, "For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." The invitation is open to everyone who puts their trust in Him; not on their own efforts or own standard of righteousness.

If you've been relying on your own strength, stop striving and turn to Christ. His grace has always been enough.

Soooo...what does Christ-like love look like?

Jesus showed it through gentleness, correction, putting others first, patience, and at times, sacrificial love.

Christ-like love is extended to everyone—even the unlovable and the hard-hearted, and if we're honest, we've all been there at one point or another. Yet Jesus met us with both grace and truth, loving us enough not to leave us where we were, but to transform us into the people He created us to be.

If you've experienced Christ's love, don't keep it to yourself. Someone around you needs that same grace, truth, and hope.

Be an extension of Christ's love today.

There is no substitute in showing our love and worship to God; not in traditions, practices, or other empty things. What He desires is our hearts and spirits that are surrendered to Him in humility.

So, whatever your situation may be, He just wants you to draw near to Him.
