Divine Turnaround: Obedience to divine instruction.
4. Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.
5. And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.
6. And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.
7. And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.”
Luke 5:4-7.
The word of God is the power of God no one will experience a turnaround when the word is ignored and no respect for it. No honour for the word is no honour for God.
The word is God’s tool for a turnaround, it can come as an instruction, an advice and no matter how the word comes a believer with spiritual discernment will quickly adhere to it.
“Whoso despiseth the word shall be destroyed: But he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded.”
Proverbs 13:13 KJV
Let us look at this verse from two other translations.
“Whoever scorns instruction will pay for it, but whoever respects a command is rewarded.”
Proverbs 13:13 NIV
“People who despise advice are asking for trouble; those who respect a command will succeed.”
Proverbs 13:13 NLT
Peter’s turnaround experience happened because he honoured or obeyed the word or instruction from Jesus Christ. This is where the secret lies obedience to divine instruction.
From Proverbs 13:13 it is clear when you despise, disrespect, dishonour and disobey a word from God for you is self affliction, is setting yourself up to remain where you are. Obedience to divine instruction is opening the door for a turnaround, success and a lifetime reward to come in.
Peter from a professional viewpoint as a fisherman he had all the reasons not to have obeyed Jesus Christ. However he obeyed because there was something in him that told him this man was not an ordinary man and obedience to His word will make the difference.
His obedience brought him a major breakthrough in business not just for himself alone and for those around him.
Obedience to God in any situation always yield blessings and way forward.
A majority disadvantage in handling spiritual matters is trying to figure them out with human understanding or logic. There is a place for human intelligence or logic but when it comes supernatural operations obey what the Holy Spirit is telling you.
Hear this:
We are in the season of supernatural turnaround, obey every instruction from the Holy Spirit as you seek Him in every aspect of your life. Don’t fail to obey His instructions that is the fastest and the only secured way out of all human frustrations.
“Divine intervention is secured through obedience to divine instruction”
It is my prayer we will obey God at all times experience our expected turnaround in Jesus Name.
