‏في عيد رقاد السيدة العذراء والدة الإله وانتقالها بالنفس والجسد إلى السماء قام اعضاء لجنة الشباب بزيارة دار إيفرجرين بحلوان وقضاء يوم مع الأهل وكبار السن المقيمين هناك.
‏بدأ اليوم بالقدس الإلهي الذي ترأسه سيادة المطران جان ماري شامي وشاركه فيه الاحتفال قدس الأب الأرشمنديت جورج فراس، حيث تحدث سيادة المطران عن مريم العذراء التى قالت نعم في البشارة ونعم تحت الصليب ودعى الجميع إلى الاقتداء بمريم وإلى المحافظة على روح الشباب داخلنا والجلوس مثل مريم أخت مرتا عند اقدام يسوع والإصغاء إلى كلامه.
وقد قام كورال الشباب بخدمة القداس الإلهي الذي قُدم على نية جميع المقيمين والقائمين على إدارة وخدمة الدار والمحسنين إليها.
وبعد القداس إلتقى الجميع في صالون دار إيفرجرين في جلسة عائلية تخللتها فقرات تعارف و تراتيل روحية مع كورال الشباب.
