Who is our real "Team?" 🛡️✨

At Kotb Quran Academy, we go beyond just memorizing verses; we bring their meanings to life! In today’s session, we explored the concept of "Al-Wala' wal-Bara'" through Quranic stories.

Al-Wala' (Loyalty): It’s about opening our hearts to everything good, loving, and supporting those who love Allah.

Al-Bara' (Disavowal): It’s about keeping our hearts and actions away from anything that displeases Allah, no matter who it comes from.

We are nurturing a generation that takes pride in its identity and chooses its companions wisely to walk the path to Jannah together. 🌸

The fire didn’t burn him… but it burned their hearts."

Ibrahim (peace be upon him) stood alone in the middle of the city.
Thousands of eyes were fixed on him.

Before him stood a fire that had been burning for days and nights so intense that no one could come near it.

The catapult was prepared.
The ropes were tightened.
And his pure body was thrown into the air…

He did not move.
He did not scream.

In that moment when any human would feel completely alone
he whispered three words that changed the history of monotheism:

"Hasbiya Allah wa ni‘ma al-wakeel"
(Allah is sufficient for me, and He is the best disposer of affairs)

As his body touched the fire…
it found nothing to burn.

Allah said:
“O fire, be coolness and peace upon Ibrahim.”

Those who lit the fire thought they could extinguish a light…
But they did not know that true light can never be put out.

Pause for a moment…
What gives a person the strength to stand alone against the world like this?

has a great reward?
The Prophet ﷺ said:
"Whoever fasts Ramadan and follows it with six days of Shawwal,
it is as if he fasted for a lifetime."
🤍 You can fast them anytime during the month, not necessarily in a row.

عارفين إن صيام 6 أيام من شوال بعد رمضان
ثوابهم كبير جدًا؟
قال النبي ﷺ:
"من صام رمضان ثم أتبعه ستًا من شوال كان كصيام الدهر"
يعني كأنك صمت السنة كلها 🤍
ومش شرط يكونوا ورا بعض، تقدروا تصوموهم في أي وقت خلال الشهر ✔️
