Today for Walk For Hope I get to share with you about my family as all donations go directly to us and the work we are blessed to do here in Santo Domingo.

Most of you know that my heart has always been inclined towards adoption and fortunately Danilo's heart has as well. We are so excited to move forward with expanding our family of four to a family of 6. With that we are blessed to be able to raise more funds with Young Life to help us cover the increase in financial need that comes with adding two more amazing mini humans to our family.

I have a goal of $300 for this fundraiser and would be so honored if you are able to give towards that.

Year End Giving is truly a blessing. Often we are able to finance a large portion of our work through your generosity this time of year.

To be honest all of this sounds formal and fancy, but the truth is your support becomes many things... it becomes one on one time with a young friend, it becomes transportation for a leader in need, it becomes a meal shared, sometimes it becomes crazy props for games or skits, it sends kids to camp, it covers costs for leaders who choose to give their time freely, it covers my salary which allows me to continue living and doing this joy-filled work...

Hello there, my name is Raquel! Some facts about me: I thoroughly enjoy studying human behavior (people are so changing across their lifetime!) and new languages (like French and sign language 🤟 ). I love cooking 👩🏽‍🍳, visiting places I’ve never been🚗, trying meals from other cultures 😋, and reading the word of God with family and friends 📖.
