My 30th birthday is only a few days away, and I would love to reach this goal by the end of the month. 🤍

This fundraiser is helping us work toward opening a 4th clinic service day here in the Dominican Republic so we can care for even more patients each week.

We are praying for:
• 25 people willing to give $30/month (about $1 a day - less than your Tim Horton's coffee)
or
• One-time gifts of $750 to sponsor a full month of clinic services.

Sometimes $1 feels small… but here, it can mean blood pressure medication, diabetes care, parasite treatment, prayer, and hope for someone who otherwise may go without.

Exciting News 🎉

Today we officially picked up our clinic License from Public Health in Santo Domingo🙌🏼🇩🇴

Definitely a big milestone for our clinic ministry and another reminder of how faithful God has been through every step of this journey.

This opens the door for more opportunities moving forward as we continuing to grow the clinic little by little to better serve this community.

Today, we are thankful.🩵

Today we had our very first “Mama y Yo" (Mommy and me) program at the clinic and it was such a sweet day. 💕

It was really special seeing almost all of our clinic staff involved in different ways - from helping behind the scenes, to leading praise and worship, running games, helping with the kids, and sharing testimonies. It truly was a team effort and we are so thankful for each person who helped make today happen.

Our heart behind this program is simply to create a space for moms and their little ones to come together, build community, be encouraged, and ultimately point them to Jesus. We are excited and hopeful to continue doing this on a regular basis.

Also a huge thank you to Clearview Community Church for the toy donations they brought down for the children. The kids absolutely loved them. 🤍

We are thankful for how today came together and are already looking forward to the next one. Please continue praying with us as we grow this program and continue reaching families in our community.

I’m turning 30 at the end of May 🎉

I can’t stop thinking about what God has done this past year.

Over 4,000 consultations.
We get to see it every week - our staff showing up, serving, treating, praying… loving people so well. It’s real, and it’s growing!

And now we’re ready for more.

We’re looking to open a 4th clinic day every week - which means more people seen, more care given, more moments to pray and share Jesus.

We want to make room for the "one more".

So I’m asking.. would you join us?

For the month of May, I’m believing for $9,000 CAD ($6,500 USD) to make this 4th day possible.

And when I break it down, it feels doable:

• 25 people partnering at $30/month
• 12 people giving a one-time gift of $750 CAD ($540 USD)
• a one time gift of choice

That’s it. That’s what opens one more day.
Every dollars makes a difference

And on the other side of that?
Over 5,000… even 6000 consultations this next year.

“Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine…” — Ephesians 3:20

If you’ve ever wanted to be part of what God is doing here - this is it.

Let’s build this together 🤍🎉

This week has been really heavy here in the Dominican. So much flooding, damage, loss… and it’s felt especially close to home with Isai's parents being greatly affected too.

Last night out daughter yelled, "mommy, daddy, come see the rainbow!"

In Genesis 9, God set the rainbow in the sky as a covenant - a promise that He would never again destroy all life by flood. And it says when the rainbow appears, it’s a reminder of that covenant.

What’s been sitting with me is when He made that promise.

Not when everything was fixed or when people had changed.

The world was still broken… and God still chose to be faithful to His word.

Which means, even now, in the middle of loss, rebuilding, and everything that feels uncertain… God has not changed.

He still sees, He still remembers, He still keeps every promise He has made.

The rainbow doesn’t mean we won’t walk through hard things.
But it does mean we are not forgotten in them.

Please join us in praying for every family affected 🤍

If you consider making a financial donation towards helping those affected, you can etransfer: [email protected] or message us for other giving options.

Last week, we sent out an email to some of our supporters sharing a need that has really been on our hearts lately, and we wanted to share it here as well.

To be honest, our vehicle situation has been a bit stressful for a while now. We’ve really tried to just keep making it work, fixing what needs fixing, and stretching it as far as we can… but we’re getting to the point where we know we need something more reliable.

We already had to replace the transmission, and not long after that, we ran into radiator issues too, along with many other repairs before that. We’re so thankful God has provided through each need along the way, specifically that big transmission one, but it’s also becoming harder to trust it for everything we need it for.

A vehicle for us here is not just about convenience. It’s a huge part of both our family life and ministry life, because the two are so intertwined. We use it to pick up medications and clinic supplies, transport volunteers, visit patients and families (sometimes in very remote places), and at times even help get patients to the hospital when needed.

We are so thankful for our moto and honestly use it a lot 😅 but there are simply some situations where we really need a dependable vehicle.

Right now, we are praying and trusting God for provision toward a more reliable ministry/family vehicle. Our goal is to raise $16,000 USD (about $22,000 CAD).

More than anything, we would truly just ask for your prayers. And if the Lord puts it on your heart to give toward this need, it would mean so much to us and would directly support both our family and the ministry here.

We never want to ask in a way that feels heavy or pressured - we know everyone has their own life, needs, and responsibilities too. We simply wanted to be honest about where we’re at and invite you into praying with us for this need.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Psalm 34:18

Some of you remember our patient Rafy, the 18 year old patient that we were caring for who was bedridden. We ask that you please keep the family and our team in your prayers.

Rafy had been under our care since around the beginning of last fall. After a spinal surgery, he was left bedridden and developed multiple severe bed sores (pressure ulcers). Our nurse Kilcia began providing wound care and help care for him in his home (she has such a good heart). We were also partnering with another organization that was helping with extra funds for our nurse and providing food and someone to cook and clean so the home could stay sanitary while he recovered.

Over time we began to see improvement. In January, Rafy reached a point where he was able to sit in a wheelchair, which was such an encouraging step.

A few weeks ago though, his health suddenly took a turn for the worse. On February 26, he was transported to the hospital. Over the past week many people stepped in to help, including those who donated money for blood as he received six blood transfusions.

Last night, Rafy passed away...😢

Our hearts are heavy, but we trust that God has the final word. We also celebrate knowing that Rafy gave his life to the Lord. While we grieve the loss, we have the hope of eternity and rejoice that he is now with Jesus. It was an honor for our team to walk alongside Rafy and his family during this time and to care for him in his home.

Please continue to pray for his family in the days ahead. We will continue to be there for them and support them however we can.

Thank you to everyone who prayed, gave, donated blood, and helped care for Rafy. Your love meant so much to him and his family. ❤️

You might wonder why we charge a small consultation fee at the clinic, especially since we’re a mission.

The truth is, it's not because we need the funds (though they’re certainly helpful), but it’s about making the clinic 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 for the long run.

The fee helps make the clinic more 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱, meaning we can keep providing care without depending solely on donations. But it’s also about giving people 𝙙𝙞𝙜𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 in their health journey. When patients contribute—even a small amount—it allows them to take ownership of their care.

Not everything in missions has to be a handout.
In 2 Thessalonians 3:10, Paul says, “The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat.”

This isn’t just about food—it’s about 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 in all areas of life, including health. We’re encouraging people to actively participate in their own well-being, not just waiting for things to be given to them.

We believe that real change happens when people can 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁 in their own lives. By encouraging self-sufficiency, we’re helping create a mindset shift that will lead to healthier, more empowered communities.

Thank you for supporting us as we walk with these amazing people, helping them take steps toward a healthier, more dignified future.

Over the past year, Milvio has become a familiar and special face at our clinic.

He comes faithfully every month for his regular medications. He is sweet, kind, humble, and hardworking. But there is one medication he needs that we do not carry at the clinic, which is a special prescription eye drop that helps control the pressure in his eyes so he can see clearly enough to work.

When he goes without these drops, his vision becomes very blurry. Simple daily tasks become difficult. And yet, no matter how much he struggles to see, we still see him out trying to work, doing everything he can to provide food for his family.

These eye drops cost about $50 per month, which is just more than he can afford.

We are wondering if anyone might feel led to help Milvio with the cost of his eye drops, whether for one month or on an ongoing basis. This small amount makes a very big difference in his ability to see, work, and care for his family.

If you would like to help, please send us a message. 🩵

As this year comes to a close, our hearts are full.

Every patient seen, every conversation, every prayer answered this year happened because people chose to stand with us.

As we step into 2026, we’re excited to be expanding and able to offer more services to the community we serve. If God puts it on your heart, a final year-end gift helps us step into the new year ready - with our staff supported, our shelves stocked, and room to grow and serve as God leads.

Thank you for believing in this work, for praying, giving, and walking alongside us. We truly couldn’t do this without you. 💛
