Our new students arrived last week! We have had a great time of orientation, training, and preparation for ministry here. Grateful to God for this awesome group!

We said goodbye to most of our girls this week (one is staying for the summer-what a blessing!). It’s a very bittersweet work. We are so thankful to walk alongside our students and interns for a year. We get to see them grow and learn and expand their view of God and the world. When they leave, though, they leave a hole where they made themselves a part of our lives. I’m so grateful that God brought us all together and for His bond that unites us for eternity.

We’ve had the best week in Jarabacoa!! We had the opportunity to try out new ministry sites and spend time with the second year Global Bridge girls! We can’t wait to go back again soon!

More of our fun from last weekend! We stopped at the zoo in Santo Domingo before driving the rest of the way to Punta Cana! In Punta Cana we were able to ride “bougies” in the mud and visit some beautiful beaches!

Wrapped up a great semester with these amazing students and interns. Everyone is back in the States for Christmas break and will return for our second semester in January. We can’t wait to all be back together again!

Almost a month ago, a group of brave girls landed in DR ready to face a full year of ministry and WOW, it has rained a lot since then. They have toured our ministry sites, sharpened up their Spanish, and started their first days of ministry site work.

We pray for guidance and wisdom to their leaders as they help them find what the Lord has for them here.
