Today there’s another chance to pick up a bargain or two at the book bazaar in the Romanesque House (by St. Mary’s Church). Open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The book bazaar in the Romanesque House next to St. Mary’s Church is open again this weekend. On Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., you’ll have the chance to make some great discoveries and find a bargain or two. And as you can see in the (current) photo, the selection is huge! The proceeds will be split equally between the city shop and the organ reconstruction project at St. Mary’s Church.

Der Aufbau der Chororgel ist weiter vorangeschritten, der Spieltisch ist (fast) fertig, die Intonationsarbeiten in vollem Gang.

Im März kam unsere neue Chororgel als riesiges Puzzle in unsere Marienkirche. Seitdem sind die Orgelbauer der Firma Claudius Winterhalter Orgelbau damit beschäftigt, das Instrument Stück für Stück aufzubauen.

70 Tage - 70 Töne

Voller Vorfreude warten wir nun auf unsere neue Orgel. Am Dienstag beginnt der Aufbau in der Marienkirche.

Für die Chororgel wurden bisher über 550 Patenschaften übernommen, jetzt - 70 Tage vor der Einweihung - sind noch genau 70 Patenschaften verfügbar. Ob wir es wohl schaffen, bis Pfingsten für alle Töne der Chororgel einen Paten oder eine Patin zu finden?
Patenschaften gibt es noch in allen "Preiskategorien"

Im Januar und Februar wurden nicht nur die Vorarbeiten in der Marienkirche durchgeführt, nein auch im Schwarzwald liefen die Arbeiten auf Hochtouren. Die Chor-Orgel wurde - wie im Orgelbau üblich - in der Werkstatt komplett aufgebaut, alle Funktionen geprüft und für den Transport wieder demontiert.

Im von Mitte Januar bis Anfang Februar wurden in der Marienkirche die notwendigen Vorarbeiten für den Einbau der neuen Chororgel vorgenommen.
Nun ist alles vorbereitet, und die Orgelbauer der Firma Claudius Winterhalter können im März mit dem Aufbau des Instrumentes in der Marienkirche beginnen.
