Center for Plateau Pastoral Research and Development Our organization aims to promote sustainable pastoral development on the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau based on research and community engagement.

Center for Plateau Pastoral Research and Development (CPRD) is non-profit organization that closely works with pastoral communities over the Tibetan Plateau. The main focus of our work is to coordinate collective pastoral development work with an approach of re-aggregating pastoral resources and collective management to maximize benefits for herders from the practice of pastoralism. We also focus

on facilitating cooperation between academic institutions, government sectors and local communities to promote community-based rangeland management systems through organizing conferences, research publications and stakeholder engagement to assist in developing sound pastoral development policies.
