Hello XICF family,
Nathan C. Fields here posting on behalf of the XICF family. Wanted to share the news that one of our members, Ethan Grant, 19, was killed in a motorcycle accident back in South Africa. Ethan was a special part of our Kairos youth ministry when his family moved to Xiamen in 2014. HIs smile never changed and he was always up for the next adventure.

We are grateful that we share the hope of a risen Savior who goes before us in all of this.

We do not know the day or the hour of his return or our leaving. Life is so fragile and passing. Our moments shared together our sacred. While most of us only spent a short period of time together, the sweetness of our shared memories lasts eternally.

Here is a short clip Ethan was part of in recruiting small group leaders to join our community. Thank you for all of those who invested in Ethan and all these kiddos lives!

Please keep the sweet Grant family in your prayers, Sean, Melanie, Declan, Ruth and Chad. We love you all!

The last three years we have been grateful to have the Go Fund Me platform so that friends from around the world who have been impacted by Gabe's work can contribute and pitch in towards his cancer treatment. More than 20 donors have given to this project and the page has been shared more than 60 times. He's been living with stage 4 lymphoma for nearly a decade.
In this short video update, Gabe shares the progress the treatment has had. It's great to see! We also know that his kidneys are severely suffering at this time-so please keep those kidneys in your prayers.
