June 19, 2026 - 5th Day of the 5th Lunisolar Month - is the Dragon Boat Festival, also known as the Day of Life Renewal and the Earth La Day. On this day fall the birthdays of Marshal Deng of the Fire Command and Regulations and Marshal Gou of the Supreme Clarity Yang Thunder. It is also a day when Taiyi Jiuku Tianzun descends, Tianpeng Yisheng Zhenjun descends, Zhenwu Dadi descends, and the Northern Dipper makes its celestial procession.

In addition, this day is a Jiazi Day, which occurs only once every sixty days. The timing is especially auspicious and suitable for paying respects to the immortals, honoring the Northern Dipper, and praying for blessings and longevity.

June 20, 2026 - 6th Day of the 5th Lunisolar Month - is the day of the Thunder Patriarch's Patrol Day.

❤️ June 21, 2026 is the Summer Solstice and the birthday of Lingbao Tianzun.

Both the Dragon Boat Festival and the Summer Solstice are important turning points in the transformation of yin and yang and the circulation of the energies of Heaven and Earth. The influence of their auspicious energies is believed to continue until the Zhongyuan Festival on the 15th Day of the 7th Lunisolar Month. During this period, yang energy gradually declines while yin energy begins to arise. It is an especially important time for self-cultivation, accumulating virtue, honoring the deities and ancestors, and praying for blessings and good fortune.

5th Day of the 2nd Lunisolar Month (June 16, 2026) - Celebrating the 990th Anniversary of Baosheng Dadi's Ascension to Immortality!

Baosheng Dadi, whose personal name was Wu Ben and courtesy name Huaji, was a renowned physician of southern Fujian during the Northern Song dynasty. From a young age, he was determined to study medicine and help the suffering. He traveled widely in search of knowledge, collected medicinal remedies, and later settled in the Qingjiao Qishan area, where he practiced medicine and provided treatment for the people.

Baosheng Dadi was known for his exceptional medical skill and compassionate heart. He treated all patients equally regardless of wealth or social status and never charged for his services. During the Mingdao era of the Song dynasty, when epidemics spread throughout the Zhangzhou and Quanzhou regions, he disregarded his own safety and led his disciples into affected areas to distribute medicine and save lives, earning the deep respect of the people.

On the 2nd day of the 5th Lunisolar Month in the 3rd year of the Jingyou era, Baosheng Dadi accidentally fell from a cliff while gathering medicinal herbs at Longchi Rock on Wenpu Mountain and passed away at the age of fifty-eight. In gratitude for his virtue and service, the local people built temples in his honor. Over the centuries, he received numerous imperial titles and was eventually bestowed the title "Wanshou Wuji Baosheng Dadi" during the Ming dynasty.

☯️ Today, devotion to Baosheng Dadi is widespread throughout southern Fujian, the Chaoshan region, Taiwan, and overseas Chinese communities across Southeast Asia. Temples dedicated to him continue to flourish, and on his annual Ascension Day, devotees gather to offer prayers and seek blessings for good health, peace, and family well-being.

農曆五月初二（2026年6月16日），恭祝保生大帝成道升天990週年！

保生大帝，姓吳名夲，字華基，為北宋時期閩南著名神醫。自幼立志學醫濟世，遍訪名師，採藥研方，後隱居青礁岐山一帶行醫施藥，救濟百姓。

保生大帝醫術精湛、仁心濟世，治病救人不分貧富貴賤，且不取分文。宋明道年間，漳泉瘟疫流行，他不顧自身安危，率弟子深入疫區施藥救人，挽救無數生命，深受百姓敬仰。

景祐三年五月初二，保生大帝於文圃山龍池巖採藥時不慎墜崖，享年五十八歲。鄉人感念其恩德，建廟奉祀。其後歷代朝廷屢加敕封，至明代尊為「萬壽無極保生大帝」。

1st Day of the 5th Lunisolar Month (June 15, 2026) - Celebrating the Sacred Birthday of the Great Emperor of Eternal Life of the Southern Pole

The Great Emperor of Eternal Life of the Southern Pole, also known as the Jade Pure True King, bears the full title "Supreme Divine Firmament Jade Pure True King, Great Emperor of Eternal Life, Primordial Heavenly Worthy Who Governs Heaven." He is one of the Four Sovereigns of Taoism and the foremost among the Nine Celestial Emperors of the Divine Firmament.

☯️ According to Taoist tradition, the Great Emperor of Eternal Life resides in the Jade Pure Palace of the Divine Firmament, overseeing the heavens and governing all beings. He assists the Jade Emperor in administering human lifespan, blessings, misfortunes, and destiny. In the Nine Heavens, he manifests as Jiutian Yingyuan Leisheng Puhua Tianzun (Nine Heavens Responding Origin Thunder Sound Universal Transformation Heavenly Worthy), commanding the Department of Thunder. For this reason, he is revered as the Patriarch of Myriad Thunders and the Lord of the Divine Firmament.

Many people mistakenly identify the Great Emperor of Eternal Life with the God of Longevity. In fact, they are different deities. The God of Longevity is associated with blessings, longevity, and good fortune, while the Great Emperor of Eternal Life presides over the Six Southern Dipper Star Lords and governs the lifespan, destiny records, and vital life force of all beings, holding a far more exalted position within the Taoist celestial hierarchy.

農曆五月初一（2026年6月15日），恭祝南極長生大帝聖誕！

南極長生大帝，又名玉清真王，全稱「高上神霄玉清真王長生大帝統天元聖天尊」，為道教四御之一，亦居神霄九宸上帝之首。

☯️ 相傳南極長生大帝居神霄玉清府，總領諸天，統御萬靈，協助玉皇大帝執掌人間壽夭禍福。於九天界化身九天應元雷聲普化天尊，統御雷部諸神，故又被尊為萬雷宗師、神霄之主。

《天皇至道太清玉冊》載：「九宸曰長生大帝、青華大帝、普化天尊、雷祖大帝、大乙天帝、洞淵大帝、六波帝君、可韓真君、採訪真君，即元始九炁化生也。」

民間常將南極長生大帝與壽星老人混為一談，實則二者不同。壽星老人主福壽吉祥，而南極長生大帝則統領南斗六司星君，掌管眾生壽命、祿籍與生機造化，地位更為尊崇。

30th Day of the 4th Lunisolar Month - Celebrating the Sacred Birthday of Patriarch Tao Hongjing

Patriarch Tao Hongjing (456-536), courtesy name Tongming and known by the title Huayang Hermit, was a renowned Taoist priest, physician, and master of health cultivation during the Liang dynasty of the Southern Dynasties. He was a key patriarch of the Shangqing School of Mount Mao and was honored by later generations as the "Prime Minister of the Mountains."

As a youth, he read Ge Hong's and developed a strong aspiration to cultivate the Tao. Later, he studied under the Taoist master Sun Youyue, received the Shangqing teachings, traveled widely to sacred mountains, and sought out Taoist scriptures. In the tenth year of the Yongming era, he resigned from government service and retired to Mount Mao, where he integrated the traditions of the Shangqing, Lingbao, and Celestial Masters schools, laying the foundation for the Maoshan lineage of Taoism.

Emperor Wu of Liang greatly admired his virtue and repeatedly invited him to serve in government, but Tao Hongjing always declined. Nevertheless, whenever important state affairs arose, imperial envoys were sent to seek his advice, earning him the title "Prime Minister of the Mountains."

He lived in seclusion on Mount Mao for more than forty years and authored numerous important works, making lasting contributions to Taoist theology, spiritual cultivation, and health preservation.

太極宮中，全真天上。擅回生之妙術，闡大道之薈華。幼號神通，長多奇蹟。羨門廣成之譽，睿賞非虛；齊梁隋唐之朝，年華莫測。峸峰謝表，書墨跡之無痕；肘後天機，入龍宮而啟秘。諭該三教，方著《千金》。洵藥境之醫王，實玄宗之領仙。大悲大願，至妙至神。降龍伏虎，護國救民，靈感孫大真人，慈悲救世天尊。

28th Day of the 4th Lunisolar Month (June 13, 2026) - Celebrating the Sacred Birthday of Medicine King Sun Simiao

Sun Simiao is revered in Taoism as the "Medicine King" and the Heavenly Worthy Who Compassionately Saves All Beings. Throughout his life, he dedicated himself to healing the sick, studying medicine, and benefiting society. His great virtue and contributions earned him the respect of generations of physicians and Taoists alike.

Born during the Western Wei dynasty, Sun Simiao displayed exceptional intelligence from a young age. He studied the classics extensively and became well-versed in both Confucian and Taoist teachings. In his youth, he retired to Mount Taibai to cultivate the Tao, practice health preservation, and devote himself to the study of medical texts and herbal medicine, aspiring to save lives through medicine.

During the Zhenguan era of Emperor Taizong of Tang, Sun Simiao was invited to the capital, Chang'an. Although nearly one hundred years old, he remained vigorous and healthy. He was highly respected by the imperial court, yet never sought rank or power, choosing instead to focus on healing and helping others.

He authored renowned medical works such as and . These texts cover diagnosis, acupuncture, health cultivation, herbal medicine, and many other fields, and are regarded as classics of traditional Chinese medicine. He also participated in the compilation of the , considered one of the world's earliest official state pharmacopoeias.

農曆四月廿八（2026年6月13日），恭賀藥王孫思邈真人聖誕！

孫思邈真人，道教尊稱「藥王」孫真人、感應普救天尊。其一生濟世救人，精研醫道，功德廣大，為歷代醫家與道眾所共同景仰。

孫思邈，生於西魏時期。自幼聰穎過人，博覽經史，兼通儒、道學說。青年時隱居太白山修道養生，潛心研究醫藥典籍與草木藥性，立志以醫濟世。

唐太宗貞觀年間，孫思邈應詔入長安。雖年近百歲，仍精神矍鑠，深受朝廷禮敬，然始終不戀權位，一心行醫救人。

其著有《千金要方》《千金翼方》等醫學巨著，內容涵蓋診療、針灸、養生、本草等諸多領域，被譽為中醫經典。後又參與編修《唐新本草》，成為世界最早的國家藥典之一。

28th Day of the 4th Lunisolar Month (June 13, 2026) - Grand Assembly of the Immortals of the Three Realms and Ten Directions by Taishang Laojun

Taishang Laojun (lit. Most High Lord Lao), also known as the Heavenly Worthy of the Tao and Its Virtue and the Primordial Lord Lao, is one of the Three Pure Ones, the highest deities in Taoism. The Three Pure Ones are the Jade Pure Heavenly Worthy of Primordial Beginning, the Supreme Pure Heavenly Worthy of Numinous Treasure, and the Great Pure Heavenly Worthy of the Tao and Its Virtue.

Taoism reveres Laozi, Li Er, as an incarnation of Taishang Laojun. Laozi authored the 5,000-character , expounding the Great Tao, and is therefore honored as the founding patriarch of Taoism.

Throughout history, it is said that Taoist masters such as Celestial Master Zhang Daoling and Kou Qianzhi received teachings and revelations from Taishang Laojun. During the Tang dynasty, the imperial family revered Laozi as their ancestor and held Taishang Laojun in the highest esteem.

According to tradition, Taishang Laojun manifested in the world long before the Shang dynasty, appearing in different forms to teach beings according to their needs. During the reign of King Zhao of Zhou, he incarnated as Laozi, traveled west through Hangu Pass, and transmitted to Yin Xi, the Guardian of the Pass.

In the Eastern Han dynasty, Celestial Master Zhang Daoling established the Way of the Celestial Masters and formally honored Laozi as the supreme teacher. From that time onward, the title "Taishang Laojun" became widely known throughout the Taoist tradition.

農曆四月廿八（2026年6月13日），太上老君集會三界十極群仙

太上老君又稱道德天尊、混元老君，為道教至高尊神「三清」之一，即玉清元始天尊、上清靈寶天尊、太清道德天尊。

道教尊奉老子李耳為太上老君化身。老子著《道德經》五千言，闡揚大道，故被尊為道教開山祖師。

歷代相傳祖天師張道陵、寇謙之等皆曾蒙老君顯化教誨。唐代皇室更尊老子為始祖，崇奉太上老君至極。

相傳老君於殷商以前即分身降世，隨方設教。至周昭王時化身老子，西出函谷關，授關令尹喜《道德經》。

東漢祖天師張道陵創立天師道，正式奉老子為教主，「太上老君」之名亦廣為流傳。

Nine Purple Fire Period - The Year of the Red Horse (2026) and Red Sheep (2027)

Many believe that 2026 will be a year calling for greater awareness and self-reflection. We are currently in the Nine Purple Fire Period, a cycle associated with strong fire energy, and 2026 is also regarded by some traditions as the "Year of the Red Horse and Red Sheep," symbolizing change, transformation, and challenges.

The symbolism of Fire is to illuminate the human heart. Those who cultivate virtue, kindness, and self-discipline may use this energy for growth and refinement. Those consumed by greed, restlessness, or excessive attachment may find themselves trapped by their own emotions and desires.

In times of change, the key is to remain centered - reducing excess fire, preserving inner water, and maintaining balance. 九紫離火運——「赤馬紅羊年」

不少人認為，2026年是個值得警醒與自我調整的年份。當前正值九紫離火運，火象能量旺盛，而2026年又恰逢「赤馬紅羊年」，象徵變動、革新與考驗並存。

離火之象，重在照見人心。心存善念、守德修身者，可藉此淬鍊成長；若貪婪、躁動、執著過盛，則容易被自身情緒與慾望所困。
