SUNDAY SERVICE RECAP | SUNDAY 30TH AUGUST 2026

We closed the month in power under the liturgy of Mme Maigari, with a deep Word from our own Revde Georgette ATSINA on the theme "Called, Sent and Transformed by God's Grace - Called and Equipped by God." From Exodus 3:1-15 at the burning bush, she showed us that like Moses, God calls us not because we are qualified but because He will equip us - "I AM WHO I AM" will be with us. This was echoed in Psalm 105:1-6, 23-26, 45b, remembering how God called Joseph and Moses to preserve His people.

She then challenged us from *Romans 12:9-21 and Matthew 16:21-28 that being called means being transformed - love without hypocrisy, carrying our cross and following Him. Grace doesn't just call us, it sends us and it changes us to be usable.

SUNDAY SERVICE RECAP | SUNDAY 23RD AUGUST 2026

It was a revelatory Sunday under the Liturgy of Deacon Hervé, as Brother Joel challenged us with a fundamental question on the theme "Know Who JESUS Is." From Matthew 16:13-20, he echoed Jesus' own question - "Who do you say I am?" - showing that knowing Jesus as the Christ changes everything. He linked it to Psalm 124 - if you know who Jesus is, you will know that if He had not been on our side, we would have been swallowed alive, and to Exodus 1:8-2:10 where even when a new king did not know Joseph, God knew Moses and preserved him in the waters for a greater destiny.

From Romans 12:1-8, Brother Joel reminded us that truly knowing Jesus transforms our worship and our service. We no longer live conformed to the world, but with renewed minds using our gifts for His glory. To know Him is to become like Him.

SUNDAY SERVICE RECAP | SUNDAY 15TH AUGUST 2026

Led by our faithful Liturgist Rev. Georgette, Mme Maigari ministered powerfully on the theme "Faith that Heals and Unity that Breaks Boundaries." From Genesis 32:22-31 and Psalm 17:1-7, she showed that Jacob's lonely wrestle at Peniel became his healing - faith turned his struggle into strength and gave him a new name. And from Matthew 14:13-21, she reminded us that Jesus healed the sick and then used the disciples' unity - bringing what little they had together - to break the boundary of scarcity and feed 5,000.

She closed with Romans 9:1-5, where Paul's heart for his people shows that true faith is not selfish; it seeks the healing of others. When faith heals us, it must unite us to heal our community.
